College. Cherise transferred to UCLA, but left after a year to pursue
her dancing and acting career. Appeared regularly on the Monte Carlo
Show hosted by John Wayne's son, David. Came in third in the Miss Black
California competition. Dated karate expert and tennis instructor,
Russell R. McFadden for several years. Appeared in To Live and Die in
L.A. and The Color Purple. Worked in later years as a dance instructor
in the Los Angeles area.
