It’s time for a new episode of The Arrow in the Head Show, and in this one hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek are joined by the writers/stars of the horror comedy The Manson Brothers Midnight Zombie Massacre, Chris Margetis (Stone Manson) and Mike Carey (Skull Manson). Also known as the Manson Brothers, Margetis and Carey have their own show on the Arrow in the Head Show YouTube channel, so this episode of The Arrow in the Head Show can be considered a crossover! And what movie could bring all of these titans together? They have joined forces to cover director Albert Pyun’s 1989 film Cyborg (watch it Here), starring Jean-Claude Van Damme!

Scripted by Pyun and Daniel Hubbard-Smith, Cyborg has the following synopsis: In a future beset by chaos and violence, mercenary Gibson Rickenbacker is charged with a mission that could change everything: protecting beautiful cyborg Pearl Prophet.

You remember, that movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as a wandering ronin-type fella in a post-apocalyptic wasteland? Yeah, that movie. Well, Jcvd will probably not be in the prequel, called “Cyborg: Rise of the Slingers” (“slingers” being the name given to the badass killers of the film), since “Rise” purports to dive into the plague that causes said apocalypse and the origins of the slingers. AICN has learned that "Cyborg" director Albert Pyun is planning to remake his own 1989 movie, which starred Jean-Claude Van Damme as a mercenary tracking a cyborg through a post-apocalyptic America. Pyun told the site that he's currently in an "acquisition process" with MGM, but already has the financial backing of the same company that funded "Donnie Darko," "Memento" and "Monster." A script has yet to be finished, but Pyun promises that there will be more "car/vehicle mayhem" with more emphasis on practical effects rather than CGI. At this point, Vince Klyn and Terrie Batson, who played the villain and the love interest in the original 1989 film, are already onboard for the remake. The helmer is hoping to also work out deals with Rutger Hauer and Michael Dudikoff.
