- Dave Bean actually has had two distinct acting careers. In his 20's & early 30's, he worked mostly in indie films and played lots of cops on various TV shows. He returned to acting full-time in 2010 and has become a reliable character performer in everything from mega-budget studio films to micro-budget new media productions. - Produced, Directed and Starred in "Incoming", a finalist for best micro-short film, at the 2021 Vancouver Independent Film Festival (May Awards). The film is a dark comedy that Dave shot on-the-fly while he thought his hotel was coming under attack. The explosions heard throughout the movie were real, the dialogue was completely improvised and filming was accomplished in just one 9 minute take.
