Galina Beda is a Soviet and Russian animator, production designer, director. In 1965 she graduated from the Moscow Art School at the Surikov Institute. In 1972 she graduated from the art department of VGIK (workshop of Aleksandra Sazonova), and moved to the creative association 'Ekran', to the animation department 'Multtelefilm'. As a production designer, she collaborated primarily with directors Marianna Novogrudskaya, Mayya Buzinova and Iosif Douksha. Until 1988 Galina worked there as a production designer, and since 1993 she has tried herself as a director. In 1994, Galina left the studio (the animation department was disintegrating), moving to the Christmas Films studio, and worked there until 2000. Since 2003, she has been a director at the Animos film and video studio. In 2004, she directed the animated film Novogodnee priklyuchenie dvukh bratev (2004).
