In March 1981, as he made his Doctor Who debut, Peter Davison was already one the best known faces on British television. Not only was he the star of both a BBC and an ITV sitcom - Sink Or Swim and Holding The Fort - but as the young and slightly reckless Tristan Farnon in All Creatures Great And Small, about the often humorous cases of Yorkshire vet James Herriot and his colleagues, he had cemented his stardom. The part led, indirectly, to his casting as the venerable Time Lord.

The Beatles’ second feature film, 1965’s Help!, is on the way on Blu-ray. On June 24 (June 25 in North America), Help! makes its eagerly awaited Blu-ray debut in a single-disc package pairing the digitally restored film and 5.1 soundtrack with an hour of extra features, including a 30-minute documentary about the making of the film, memories of the cast and crew, an in-depth look at the restoration process, an outtake scene, and original theatrical trailers and radio spots. An introduction by the film’s director, Richard Lester, and an appreciation by Martin Scorsese are included in the Blu-ray’s booklet.

The cast of Vicar of Dibley have reunited for the first time in six years for Comic Relief.
Dawn French has brought back actors from her hit BBC sitcom for a special sketch on Friday night's (March 15) TV fundraiser.
Original cast members Gary Waldhorn, James Fleet, John Bluthal, Trevor Peacock and Roger Lloyd-Pack will all appear in the skit.
Homeland's Damian Lewis will also cameo in the mini-reunion.
The last full episode of Vicar of Dibley aired on New Year's Day 2007. A Comic Relief sketch also aired in March 2007.
Dawn French will also be involved in a takeover of Radio 2 with Jennifer Saunders on Red Nose Day to help raise money for the charity.
