Johan Bojer was born on 6 March 1872 in Orkanger, Norway. He was a writer, known for The Power of a Lie (1922), The Face of the World (1921) and Sangen til livet (1943). He was married to Ellen Lous Lange. He died on 3 July 1959 in Oslo, Norway.
