To Marvel Entertainment,
Last week I read X-Men Gold #1 and, controversy aside which I won’t be getting into as you have gone above and beyond to address the issue properly and professionally, it really invoked a lot of strong feelings in me. Because of that, I’d like to talk about the X-Men and what they mean to me.
I first discovered X-Men on television when I was in elementary school. I remember watching the first episode and immediately being sucked in. To this day, the Sentinels are still menacing to me and I’ll always have a fondness for Jubilee, Rogue and Storm. I remember the time between Saturday morning after the episode finished to the next Saturday felt like an eternity. I was a shy kid who knew he was queer, but I didn’t understand it. I didn’t have a lot of friends, didn’t...

Russell Brand and Jane Lynch have shared a kiss on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The picture was posted on Leno's official Facebook page ahead of Thursday evening's (October 25) broadcast, along with the caption "This is happening tonight… and it's magical. Oh yes, it is magical." Brand and Lynch shared a peck on the lips as she arrived on set, and the Rock of Ages actor joked: "That kiss on the mouth has taken our relationship to the next level." "You have really nice teeth for a British person," Lynch told Brand, who responded: "You've got nice lips for a Yank." Glee star Lynch appeared on The Tonight Show to talk about new animated movie Wreck-It Ralph, while Brand was promoting his new FX comedy show Brand X. Brand also told an anecdote about his (more)...

Some of the most amazing full color commissions I own originate from the hand of Agnes Garbowska, the scans never coming remotely close to doing her justice. In-hand, this cover recreation of Robert Liefeld’s X-Force #1 is as bold as it is playful.
X-Force #1 happened on my watch, and unlike what many will try to tell you now, it was really an amazing and exciting time to be a fan. I vividly remember this final stretch of books by the Image founders, at the peek of their powers, before the exodus from Marvel. Cable particularly was rivaling even Wolverine for Mutant supremacy, which back then was synonymous with Marvel supremacy. The X brand ran shit, with only Spidey even being in the conversation as the Mr. Big of the industry. Even as a Valiant Comics head, I loved and had much respect for early Image, and the previous Marvel output of those creator.

Trinity announced today that they have acquired UK rights to Adam Rehmeier’s controversial low budget horror film The Bunny Game and plan to release it through their new home entertainment label Trinity X in early 2012. One fly in the ointment is the fact the movie has yet to be certified in the UK, and if this gets through with an anything less than an “18” (Nc-17) certificate, without a few snips here and there, we’d be very surprised. The Bunny Game, which has been described as ‘taking psychological and physical terror to new extremes’ centres around a drug-addicted prostitute, Bunny, played by Rodleen Getsic, who is kidnapped by a truck driver (Gregg Gilmore) and subjected to a harrowing series of sadistic and torturous ‘games’. Mark Sandell, co-director of Trinity Films, said today: “Although The Bunny Game is acquired viewing and deals with disturbing issues, it fits the Trinity X brand...

Adam Rehmeier's independent feature The Bunny Game has found a home in the UK with Trinity X acquiring UK rights for the nasty little film we've been talking about for over a year now.
Mark Sandell, co-director of Trinity Films, said today: "Although 'The Bunny Game' is acquired viewing and deals with disturbing issues, it fits the Trinity X brand perfectly in that it is distinctive and independent film-making at its best, with strong performances and a highly original filmic eye".
Directed by filmmaker Adam Rehmeier from a screenplay by Rodleen Getsic and Rehmeier, the film follows a prostitute (played by a gutsy Rodleen Getsic) looking for her next meal who hitches a ride with a trucker (Jeff Renfro) that leaves her praying for her next breath.
