The former couple's separation proceedings are ongoing and Sestito filed court documents last week (ends13May12) claiming he has "negative balances" on both his business and personal accounts and is asking to be awarded $17,000 a month in spousal support, according to TMZ.com.

The documents state Sestito became accustomed to eating out "almost every day at high end restaurants" and estimates his monthly food bills to be around $3,000 (£1,875) a month.

Sestito claims Suvari's annual income to be around $750,000 (£468,750) and he also wants to be given an additional $10,000 (£6,250) to pay his attorney fees.

London, June 27 – American actress Mena Suvari has tied the knot with her boyfriend of three years Simone in Sestito in Italy.

Mena, 31, who was married to the 18-years-older cinematographer Robert Brinkmann from 2000 to 2006, this time chose someone closer to her in age. Concert producer Sestito is 25.
