- Under the name "Maria Hoff" she was on the cover of the November 1964 U.S. Playboy magazine.
- Usually cast in ornamental roles. She quit acting in 1975 and later worked in a Munich advertising agency. In 1979, she married the American Lockheed-Manager George E. Lombard and became henceforth known as Maria Lombard.
