Vlastimil Brodský was born on 15 December 1920 in Hrusov, Ostrava, Czechoslovakia. He was an actor and writer, known for Jacob the Liar (1974), Babí léto (2001) and Noc na Karlstejne (1974). He was married to Jana Brejchová and Bozena Brodská. He died on 20 April 2002 in Slunecna, Czech Republic.
