I think it's the way we need to make films in Canada if we're going to
really make films we want to make. I don't think we can obey
Hollywood's rules in a market and a production zone where we don't have
those kind of resources. We have to find ways to tell our own stories.
That's what I've spent my life doing in theatre, and that's what movies
will have to do too.
