Cooper's new album, "Welcome 2 My Nightmare," the sequel to his platinum 1975 concept album, drops Sept. 13. Cooper not only reunites with producer Bob Ezrin, who produced the first "Nightmare," but he also reunites with the three surviving members of the original Alice Cooper group--guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neal Smith-- who appear on three tracks. Other collaborators include Buckcherry's Keith Nelson, Vince Gill ("A Runaway Train") and "Tik Tok" singer Ke$ha ("What Baby Wants").
And if you're asking yourself, 'Why Ke$ha?'--that was Cooper's intention.

Alice Cooper has unveiled plans for his new studio album. The singer will release Welcome 2 My Nightmare on September 16 in the Us and October 17 in the UK, following the release of his upcoming single 'I'll Bite Your Face Off' on August 22. However, the rocker will release a limited edition Fan Pack version of the album in the UK on September 16. The LP will serve as the sequel to Cooper's 1975 record Welcome To My Nightmare and sees the 63-year-old reunited with original Alice Cooper members Denis Dunaway, Michael Bruce and Neal Smith. Cooper has also collaborated with Ke$$ha on an album track titled 'What Baby Wants'. Alice Cooper's official site has announced the shock-rock overlord's first-ever holographic "4D" concert, slated to take place in the UK's historic Battersea Power Station next month. The "Jägermeister Ice Cold Event" will feature holographic projections of Alice and his original band lineup of bassist Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith and guitarist Michael Bruce, with Steve Hunter filling in on lead guitar for the late Glen Buxton. Alice Cooper is to make history next month with the UK's first holographic 4D rock gig at Battersea Power Station in London. At the Jägermeister Ice Cold Event on May 11, veteran rocker Cooper will appear in front of the audience using a state-of-the-art holographic system, V-Depth. Hosted by Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, the event will feature Cooper 'performing' with all members of his original band - Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith and Michael Bruce - for the first time in the UK since 1972.
