Sharknado, Jurassic Games, Atomic Shark, Dragon Wars, Ghostquake….. I could go on. I do have a fondness for these films and many many more. They usually have ridiculous and/or eye-catching titles and awesome/really bad-looking DVD covers. But in truth it had been a little while since I had watched one. Therefore I jumped at the chance to view Jurassic Galaxy.

Indican Pictures have given us the first look at their new trailer and key art for Massacre on Aisle 12, a horror comedy from directors Jim Klock and William Mark McCullough.

The film, which was a big hit at festivals last year, stars Michael Buonomo, Chad Ridgely, Melissa Saint-Armand, Jim Klock, Aikido Burgess, Mike Capozzi, Doug Burch and Amber Jean.

Synopsis:

The discovery of a dead body and a duffel bag full of cash in a hardware store on Christmas Eve drives a crew of screwball employees to the point of mental breakdown and murder.

2025 – the Shuttle has been relegated to glorified taxi. On a routine mission shuttle Atlantis encounters bursts of light shutting down its instrumentation leaving it adrift in space with Rookie Astronaut Travis Black. The rest of the crew find themselves in the middle of a barren, desert wasteland. Crewmembers begin dying in bizarre ways. Travis comes to realize that he has been chosen to compete in some sort of galactic chess game with an Alien entity.

Atlantis Down is a science-fiction themed film, which completed shooting in 2009. In to 2010, the film has now moved in to post-production and one of the film's castmates, Michael Rooker (The Freeway Killer), has provided an interview for director Max Bartoli and producer Ethan Marten (Dead Men) to discuss the status of this project. Also, in the interview Rooker is questioned about his other work including his part on the Italian shot Cliffhanger, with Sylvester Stallone. As well, Rooker is not shy in talking about the mean streets of Chicago, where he grew up as a youth.
