Gábor Bódy was born on 30 August 1946 in Budapest, Hungary. He was a director and writer, known for Amerikai anzix (1975), Narcissus and Psyche (1980) and Kutya éji dala (1983). He was married to Veronika Baksa-Soos (Veruschka Body). He died on 25 October 1985 in Budapest, Hungary.

The circumstances of his death are still mysterious. At the time his case was officially closed labeling it &quot;suicide&quot;, but there are still theories about a possible murder.

He has a daughter (Zita) and a son (Caspar-Maria Zoltan Leopard).
