Casey's camera career started with a hands-on education in lighting.
First introduced to the film business at age 19, he spent his formative
years in the lighting department on a string of feature films
throughout the southern United States. He relocated to the East Coast,
and after two years in the New York independent film scene, Casey
joined the union, working on major motion pictures and various
television projects. In 2001 he moved to Berlin, Germany and quickly
learned the language, landing behind the lens as director of
photography on commercials, music videos and fiction films.
