Chela Castro was born on 21 June 1929 in Santiago del Estero, Argentina. She was an actress, known for No empujen (1982), Entre brumas (1973) and El día que me quieras (1994). She was married to Raúl Astor. She died on 15 April 2014 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Immigrated with her husband <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0040101/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Raúl Astor</a>to Mexico in 1957.

Made her acting debut in the Argentinian theatre in 1950.
