Charlo was born on 7 July 1905 in Avestruz, La Pampa, Argentina. He was an actor and composer, known for Pesadilla (1963), The Soul of the Accordion (1935) and Un sueño y nada más (1964). He was married to Sabina Olmos. He died on 30 October 1990 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
