Vigil Chime is an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker.
In 2017, she won the prestigious Nicoll Fellowship in Screenwriting for her screenplay "Bring Back Girl."
The script also won the 2017 Writers' Lab screenwriting competition, sponsored by Oprah Winfrey and Nicole Kidman.
Chime earned an MFA from Columbia University's Film Program, Screenwriting concentrate. She resides in Harlem, New York.
