Apparently, that was the last place that Benjamin and Lynn had gone to prior to his sudden death. Eli also met his end at that farmhouse, after witnessing a series of disjointed visuals, but since Cleo was with him, she decided to dial 911 and get the elderly child psychologist to a hospital. Apple TV+ recently hosted a screening and panel conversation for “Lady in the Lake” at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists in Los Angeles. Upon conclusion of the screening of the seventh and final episode, titled “My Story,” star and executive producer Natalie Portman and star Moses Ingram engaged in a fun Q&a moderated by Variety’s Emily Longeretta. Later on, attendees enjoyed a lively reception, complete with hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

“Lady in the Lake” streamed this summer on Apple TV+, with creator-executive producer-writer-director Alma Har’el adapting the thriller from the book of the same name by Laura Lippman. In episode 6 of Before, Eli accepted the fact that the worm that he had pulled out of Noah’s forehead was imaginary, but he took such a drastic step because feeding the kid’s delusions was the only cure. The results spoke for themselves because the mass hysteria that Noah had caused came to an end after the imaginary worm was “surgically removed.” But this didn’t dispel Denise’s apprehensions about Eli’s capabilities, and after seeing the horrific pin board in Eli’s house, she was convinced that her stepson’s life was in the hands of a madman. In addition to that, the episode traumatized everyone who is watching this godforsaken show with its digitally de-aged versions of Billy Crystal and Judith Light for a flashback sequence. There we learned that Lynn’s ex, Benjamin, used to suffer from night terrors, and he resorted to self-medication to cure himself.

English, the upcoming Broadway production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Sanaz Toossi, will feature the original Off Broadway world premiere cast, including Tala Ashe, Ava Lalezarzadeh, Pooya Mohseni, Marjan Neshat and Hadi Tabbal.

In episode 5 of Before, Noah caused some type of mass psychosis, due to which every kid around him started to show symptoms for diseases that they couldn’t have contracted while being monitored by all kinds of doctors and nurses. Given how this incident was triggered by Noah looking at the name of Benjamin Walker, Lynn’s ex-boyfriend, Eli theorized that Noah and Walker were somehow connected and getting to the bottom of it would solve Noah’s case. After some digging, Eli came across the tapes of Walker where he screamed about worms crawling under his skin, which was something that Noah was complaining about as well. In episode 3 of Before, Eli figured out that Noah was being haunted by some weird visions that involved a tentacled monster. That’s what caused Noah to stab a kid at his playschool. But it wasn’t clear what any of those visions meant. To make things even more complicated, Noah’s visions were accompanied by full-body shivers that seemingly caused his lips to go blue. In one instance, Noah technically drowned even though the only body of water that was present in his hospital room was the glass on his table. When Eli learned about all this, he expressed his desire to take Noah home with him, because he didn’t trust the hospital authorities to take proper care of him. Obviously, Gail stopped Eli from doing so because that was unethical. So, Eli decided to have a chat with Noah, and the kid insinuated that Eli had hurt him.

It was recently announced that Outer Banks would be coming to a close with its upcoming fifth season, but that doesn’t mean the end of the Obx universe, as potential spinoffs are being considered.

In an interview with Deadline, Outer Banks co-creators and executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke said, “We are excited for Season 5, and we’re excited for other stories in this universe down the line.” It’s not clear what these potential Outer Banks spinoffs would be, and sources say that no projects are actively in the works right now.

Gosh there's so many moments where Groff could have been killed, but this horrible man has nine lives or something. The first is when he got back into the custody of Dalia and her crew. They should have just killed him right then and there. But no. We wait until Morocco and Lightner is beating him up really good. Honestly, he deserved that and so much more. It was fun watching.

Outer Banks season 4 part 2 has dropped on Netflix and after watching the final episode of the season, one thought remains at the forefront of my mind: Damn, they really went there.

If you’ve seen the finale, you know exactly what I’m referring to already, but for those who haven’t yet finished their binge-watch of the latest season 4 episodes, allow me to politely drop this spoiler warning as I’m about to dive into some pretty major spoilers connected to the season 4 finale as I take a look at how Outer Banks just managed to pull off a twist that Stranger Things seems afraid to tackle.

Now that my disclaimer is out of the way, let’s get to the heart of things. First, to my Outer Banks family, I am sending virtual hugs as the lord knows we need them now more than ever before.

Phew! Outer Banks season 4 episode 9, "The Storm," was certainly jam-packed. It honestly felt like this episode was the season finale. And it very easily could have been. In case things just couldn't get any worse for the Pogues, they end up having to go on the run again because the cops think that JJ is the one responsible for Hollis' death. As we saw in episode 8, this was all a set up a la Groff. Father of the year. This guy is truly horrible, and JJ starts to act out. He's hurt, and this is what he does.

Though did he really need to shoot that firecracker at the police? Definitely not. His friends are rightfully mad at him this time.

With episode 7 being so great, unfortunately it feels like Outer Banks season 4 episode 8 was a little disappointing in comparison. It was not as enjoyable for me, and we get into the review of "Family Plot," to see why. Spoilers Below.

So this is an important episode as it really sets up Chandler Groff and what his true motives are. He does not care about JJ at all, and that's just so heartbreaking and disappointing. JJ has already had an unpleasant father in Luke, and now Groff has let him down as well. I mean, this guy is literal scum.

First, he goes through this elaborate plan to get the scroll back from the Pogues after they figure out the Blue Crown is in Morocco, comes up with the whole scheme with calling the cops and setting JJ up for Hollis' murder, and locks Kiara in the cooler.

Our favorite Pogues are back! After a month wait between Outer Banks season 4 part 1 and part 2, it's time to see how this chapter of the story plays out. In episode 5, it was revealed that JJ's biological parents are actually Larissa and Charles Groff. Plus, Sarah and Pope were stuck in the catacomb with no way out. What's come up next? Thankfully John B and Cleo are able to get Pope and Sarah out, which I had no doubt they would. These young adults are so resourceful and they weren't going to give up, obviously. Let's get into the center of this episode, and that's JJ and the town council meeting. We learn how Luke ended up with JJ. I mean, he was a pretty good dad to him as a child.

Over the course of its four seasons, Outer Banks has taken viewers on quite a ride filled with many ups and downs. Along the way, we’ve seen epic highs such as when the Pogues discovered the lost city of El Dorado and we were able to rebuild Poguelandia. We’ve also seen more than our fair share of crushing lows, in fact, that list is probably far too long to actually list as life has not been easy for the Pogues.

There have been moments that made us laugh, moments that left us speechless, and moments that made us cry both tears of sorrow and joy. However, nothing, and I mean nothing, could have ever prepared us for the gut-wrenching moment the writers would throw our way in the show’s season 4 finale.

After what has felt like the wildest season yet, our latest journey with the Pogues officially comes to a close in the tenth episode of the season as Outer Banks season 4 wraps with what has become the longest episode in the show’s history. It’s an episode that is full of shocking developments and that ending is sure to keep fans talking for months ahead as we wait to see what the final chapter of Outer Banks will bring for John B and the gang.

In Outer Banks season 4 episode 9, the Pogues are chilling and laying low after the events of episode 8. Remember, Pope (Jonathan Daviss) and JJ (Rudy Pankow) are still fugitives.

Groff (J. Anthony Crane) calls the Sheriff to tell them he hasn’t heard from Hollis Robinson (Brianna Brown). When they arrive at her house, they find her body, dead, and murdered. Groff tries to pin the murder on JJ and the Pogues, but Shoupe (Callum Moss) sees through it this time.

The deputies find JJ and the Pogues, but they steal the boat and make a plan to travel to Morocco. They just need to steal a bigger boat.

Somehow, as they cruise through the marina to steal the boat, Rafe (Drew Starkey) sees the Pogues and overhears them, somehow, talking about going to Morrocco. As the Pogues fail to steal a boat, Rafe makes a big move, Country Club! He...

After barely escaping with a very important map from very bad people, the Pogues do something very Pogue-like in the first scene of Outer Banks season 4 episode 8, “Family Plot.” They – well, not Sarah – get high and try to decode the map to the Blue Crown at Poguelandia.

They probably should not have gone straight home, because Chandler Groff (J. Anthony Crane) shows up a few hours later. He begs for help, and JJ Maybank (Rudy Pankow), the kind man that he is, tries to help him.

Groff reveals that they are now in possession of the Mogador scroll, a map, but he warns them that the Lupine Corsairs are very bad mercenaries. They will not let this go. Now, the Pogues are in grave danger.

Groff also tells them a story about the Blue Crown and how it came into the possession of Murad, a pirate. He also tells them...

Outer Banks season 4 episode 7 begins right when episode 6 ended. JJ Maybank (Rudy Pankow) returned to Goat Island to confront Chandler Groff (J. Anthony Crane) about the fact that he is JJ’s father. He looks at the portrait of Larissa Genrette on the wall, and it’s clear that he recognizes the resemblance between Larissa and him.

He asks Groff if he is his father, but Groff denies it. JJ reveals that Luke Maybank (Gary Weeks) was the one who told him that Groff was his father. Groff tries to lie again. JJ asks what really happened to his baby. Groff says that the baby drowned, but they never found the body.

It’s a very weird exchange, but they don’t have long before things hit the fan.

Captain Dalia (Pollyanna McIntosh) and Lightner return to Goat Island to revenge on Chandler for killing Omar, the person who was in their crew.

Outer Banks season 4 part 2 picks up immediately after episode 5, “Albatross,” when Luke Maybank (Gary Weeks) reveals to JJ that he’s the son of Larissa Genrette (Tommi Rose) and Chandler Groff (J. Anthony Crane).

In the first scene of Outer Banks season 4 episode 6, “The Town Council,” we get a flashback to baby JJ. Luke helps soothe JJ while Larissa struggles with her relationship with her husband. Luke grows close with Larissa before Groff reveals she’s not doing well. Groff brings JJ to Luke’s house to give his parents a break.

Groff pays Luke to take JJ behind Larissa’s back, which is a bit strange, right? Like, it’s straight kidnapping. Larissa reportedly drowns with her son, which is not true because obviously Luke has JJ. Groff convinces Luke to keep JJ without telling the Genrettes that he’s alive.

This is definitely bittersweet news. It's always hard to know that your favorite series is ending, especially one with such a lovable group of friends who always manage to make us laugh, and give us all the feels. But all good things must come to an end at some point. And at least the adventurous story will get the proper ending that it deserves.

Writing on Outer Banks season 5 has begun

Per a Netflix press release, the writers are hard at work on the scripts for Outer Banks season 5. So it's still in the early stages.

Netflix has renewed the fan-favorite drama Outer Banks for a fifth and final season, ahead of its Season 4 Part 2 premiere on November 7. The news comes two days after the second Poguelandia: An Outer Banks Experience, held November 2 at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

Writing for the final season is currently underway. Season 5 details and additional information will be shared at a later time by the streaming service.

Outer Banks Season 4 Part 1 debuted at #1 on Netflix’s global top 10 English TV chart following its release on October 10 and has remained in the top ten for three weeks, reaching the top 10 in 74 countries, leading up to the release of Part 2 on November 7.
