- Buried with his wife Paulette Coquatrix in the "Père Lachaise Cemetery" in Paris.
- Ray Ventura was his best man and the godfather of his daughter Patricia Coquatrix.
- In 2010 was named a street in his name in Paris near of the Olympia which he was the director from 1954 to his death in 1979.
- In 1959, he co-composed with Henri Betti the French songs "Avec" and "Paris mes Amours" (lyrics by André Hornez) for the revue "Paris mes Amours".
