James is a Broadcast, Royal Television Society and Irish Academy awards winning comedy writer, director and show runner working in the UK and Ireland.
Growing up in Dublin, Ireland, his breakthrough work was creating the comedy sketch show Republic of Telly, for RTE. Working as show runner for its first eight seasons, the series broke a new generation of talent in front of, and behind the, camera, garnered hundreds of millions of views online, and won numerous awards including an Irish Film and Television Award for Best TV Moment.
Other notable work Includes Zen Motoring, No Worries If Not!, Blindboy Undestroys and Rubberbandits Guides. His work spans sketch, sitcom, topical comedy and experimental documentaries.
