Chicago Pd may be taking the week off, but one of its most popular characters will appear on FBI Season 2 Episode 19, airing tonight on CBS at 9/8c.
CBS has now released a new trailer for the milestone episode tha brings a character from the NBC series over to the Eye network.
It all sounds confusing, but Dick Wolf is being the FBI universe, as well as the OneChicago universe, so he made it happen.
For now, we know Tracy Spiridakos is headed to New York to serve a temporary assignment at the New York Bureau of the FBI.
“Tracy’s character is a fan favorite, and I’m extraordinarily happy to be shining an even greater light on her and gaining new fans along the way before her return to Chicago P.D," Wolf said when the crossover was made official.

"What do you want from me?!" Momentum Pictures has debuted the first official trailer for a survival movie called 6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain, telling the faith-based story of a former hockey player and adrenaline junkie who gets stranded in the mountains. He must "battle his own personal demons" in order to survive. Josh Hartnett stars as as Eric LeMarque, who ends up lost while snowboarding in the High Sierras when a massive winter storm hits. Also starring Mira Sorvino, Sarah Dumont, Kale Culley, and Jason Cottle. Despite this being billed as "one of the most amazing tales of survival" it looks pretty much like every other tale of snowy survival. Right down to the wolves. And that song makes my eyes roll big time. Here's a trailer (+ poster) for Scott Waugh's 6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain Trailer, on YouTube: When a snowstorm strands former professional hockey player Eric LeMarque...

Exclusive: Relativity and the Bandito Brothers scored a #1 domestic opening when they brought Act Of Valor about U.S. Navy Seals to the big screen in February 2012 and grossed over $70M all in. Now the pair are re-teaming on another R-rated gritty actioner – this time about elite Swat officers in the upcoming sequel. Relativity has acquired the worldwide rights to finance, produce and distribute Act of Valor 2. I’ve learned Scott Wiper (The Condemned, A Better Way To Die) is attached to write and direct and the Bandito Brothers will produce again. A year ago, Relativity Television announced it would produce a scripted drama series based on the original film in collaboration with the Bandito Brothers but it’s still in development. The first film was based on an original script by Kurt Johnstad (300) and directed by Bandito Brothers partners Mike ‘Mouse’ McCoy and Scott Waugh. It featured a group of active-duty U.

Act of Valor was a pretty awesome movie, and I'm excited to hear that Relativity Media and the Bandito Brothers are looking to team up to make a TV show based around it! It's about freakin' time someone developed a Navy Seal TV series! If they are able to bring the authenticity, realism and badassery that the movie had, then this could end up being an amazing show! The series will tell the true stories of missions carried out by the SEALs.
For those of you who haven't seen the movie yet, you might want to check it out. The acting might not be the best, but that's because they used real Navy SEALs. It's definitely entertaining though. There's no word on if they'll use Seal team members for the series or not. The plan is to shop the series around to broadcast and cable networks. The press release also...

Relativity and the Bandito Brothers are bringing their Navy SEALs movie Act Of Valor to the small screen. The Bandito Bros and Relativity’s TV division RelativityREAL will develop a drama series based on the movie and plan to take the project to broadcast and cable networks shortly. The film, which opened at No. 1 at the domestic box office earlier this year, featured a group of active-duty U.S. Navy SEALs, alongside actors Roselyn Sanchez, Alex Veadov, Jason Cottle and Nester Serrano, in a fictionalized account of a real-life Navy Seal operation. Act of Valor will mark the second RelativityREAL series project based on a Relativity feature, following Catfish: The TV Show premiering on MTV in November. The company is currently exploring television options for film properties Immortals, Haywire and Movie 43. Meanwhile, Bandito Bros and Act Of Valor‘s Scott Waugh is shepherding a military drama project React at TNT.

Chicago – “Act of Valor” is a woeful miscalculation on every conceivable level. To call it a movie would be inaccurate. You know those slickly photographed, stupendously smug army recruitment videos that often appear in pre-show movie theater ads? Imagine one of those videos stretched to two hours and passed off as entertainment. It’s like a Michael Bay knockoff without the aliens.
After co-directing 2007’s documentary short, “Navy Swcc,” Mike “Mouse” McCoy and Scott Waugh were asked by the Navy to make a movie about the SEALs. Through their research, McCoy and Waugh decided that the only way to make an accurate film would be to cast real-life Navy SEALs who can shoot real guns and perform real stunts. Yet for all the “reality” on display, McCoy and Waugh have no idea how to make their film feel the least bit authentic.

Although the film stumbles during the dialogue scenes and the plot seems very familiar, Act of Valor entertains thanks to its incredible action sequences and the level of authenticity that is captured on the screen. Marketed around the fact the film features actual active duty Navy SEALs, Act of Valor was directed by Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh from a screenplay by Kurt Johnstad. It stars Jason Cottle, Nestor Serrano, Ailsa Marshall, Gonzalo Menendez, Emilio Rivera, Dimiter D. Marinov, Thomas Rosales Jr., Marc Margulies, Dan Southworth, Drea Castro, Marissa Labog, Alex Veadov and Roselyn Sanchez. The film.s plot is fairly straight forward and follows a Seal team as they hunt down a terrorist before he has a chance...

The 2012 action-adventure thriller film Act of Valor is a most unique production in that it stars a group of active-duty U.S. Navy SEALs alongside Hollywood actors Roselyn Sanchez (Yellow), Alex Veadov (TV’s Svetlana), Jason Cottle (Cthulhu) and Nester Serrano (TV’s 90210).
A fictionalized account of real life Navy Seal operation, Act Of Valor revolves around an elite team of highly trained Navy SEALs who are sent on a mission to recover a kidnapped CIA operative, unexpectedly resulting in the discovery of an imminent, terrifying global threat.
Produced and directed by former Baja 1000 champion Mike “Mouse” McCoy and former stuntman Scott Waugh, and written by Kurt Johnstad (300), the movie combines large-scale combat sequences with up-to-the-minute battlefield technology.

The Kid With A Bike (12A)
(Jean-Pierre & Luc Dardenne, 2011, Bel/Fra/Ita) Thomas Doret, Cécile de France, Egon di Mateo, Jérémie Renier, Fabrizio Rongione. 87 mins
Once again, the Dardenne brothers pull you into the world of a poor, marginalised soul and keep you there, without resorting to any fancy tricks. How do they do it? In this case it's impulsive young Cyril: no mother, rejected by his father, no friends, and only his talismanic bike to cling to. What's to become of him? It sounds rather worthy but, in fact, it's an effortless watch – powerfully acted, paced like an action movie, and shifting into a higher gear of spiritual grace when it needs to.
The Hunger Games (12A)

Finally, he leaves the multiplex to stalk Amanda Seyfried and her on-screen sister because he believes he’s at least as creepy as the legions of creepy guys in Gone. Oh, and that Tyler Perry movie? Act of Valor
Directed by: Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh
Cast: Active Duty Navy SEALs, Jason Cottle, Alex Veadov
Running Time: 1 hr 51 mins
Rating: R
Release Date: February 24, 2012
Plot: A group of Navy Seals try to stop a terrorist cell led by a radical named Shabal (Cottle) and funded by his childhood friend (Veadov).
Who’S It For?: I won’t get political with this section, but the division seems pretty clear. If you think watching real SEALs play around in the structure of a generic action movie sounds cool, then you might enjoy Act of Valor for its simple pleasures. If that doesn’t sound like your fare, don’t even bother. Anybody who heavily enjoys video games like “Call of Duty” will be stuck somewhere in between both camps, unsure as whether to see this as a recruitment video, dumb fun, or both.

Asked by the Navy to create a film to honor the fallen Seals since 9-11 who gave their lives to protect our country, Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh took six months to gain the active team’s trust and begin to understand exactly what they do on a day-to-day basis. As the directing pair’s brief interview playing before my Act of Valor screening explained, once it became time to make the movie neither could fathom doing it with actors who simply could never understand the emotional complexity of such a job. Who besides the actual man could wrap his head around being a 6 foot tall hulk of an Operator barking orders while deployed and a humble, tender father of five back home who leaves them behind with love and duty coexisting in his heart? No one.
