Mel B is returning to the judges’ table for the landmark 20th season of America’s Got Talent, which begins May 27 on NBC. But if she’s in, who’s out?
The former Spice Girl will be sitting alongside Simon Cowell (his 10th season), Howie Mandel (his 16th season), and Sofia Vergara (her sixth season), which means Heidi Klum is stepping down … at least for now. Klum previously took a break in Season 14, but she returned the following year. It’s likely that Klum’s duties as the returning host of Project Runway are responsible for her missing this installment of AGT.
Terry Crews is also back as the host of America’s Got Talent for the seventh consecutive cycle.

The film that would become The Killer’s Game has been hanging around for roughly three decades now – the first draft having been penned way back in 1995. While it has, perhaps admirably, finally made its way to the screen, the final result might indicate why it took 30 years to get there: the film is a hodgepodge of hitman clichés, cartoonish ultra-violence, and underwritten character drama that emerges both undercooked and endlessly reheated, a forgettable John Wick knock-off.
It’s not for lack of trying. Eventual director J.J. Perry has assembled an all-star cast for his hitman face-off, across the spectrum of hulking hardmen, dependable action stars, and pure thespian talent. But these pieces never cohere into a satisfying whole – the character work is flatly directed and the visuals often dour and desaturated, clashing awkwardly with the outlandish action and video-gamey roster of colourful assassins. While a mid-movie twist lands well, The Killer’s Game...

Terry Crews is known as Hollywood’s sweetheart. Most fans know him for his role as Terry Jeffords in Brooklyn 99, however, he has been a cherished part of the film industry for decades. He has been in everything from adult comedy films to animated projects, becoming the icon that he is today. On top of his intimidating physique, the actor also gets quite vulnerable with his fans, sharing some of his darkest moments with them.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" first aired on Fox in the fall of 2013, immediately cementing itself as yet another classic from Michael Schur ("Parks & Recreation") and Dan Goor — so why did it end, and will we ever get another season?
The comedy, which was led by "Saturday Night Live" alum Andy Samberg alongside a perfect ensemble cast including Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon Miller, focused on the 99th precinct in Brooklyn and their constant misadventures in policing — and that description alone might give you a clue as to why the series ended if you've, say, watched or read any news since 2020 or so. The show came to a close in the fall of 2021 with its eighth and final season after facing delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but even getting to eight seasons wasn't easy for this little show that could...

After receiving a degree in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney, Dolph Lundgren started his acting career with a James Bond film (A View to a Kill) in 1985, quickly followed by his iconic performance as Soviet boxer Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, and then a string of action films. With a career spanning five decades, the man has kept busy, playing over 100 parts… and now, we have taken on the task of picking some of his best movies. Here we go:
Don’T Kill It (2016)
Directed by Mike Mendez, Don’t Kill It combines action, horror, and comedy while dropping Lundgren into the role of badass demon hunter Jebediah Woodley, who seems more interested in finding his next drink than catching demons. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is remembered for its funny dialogue and over-the-top gags, but as with all Michael Schur shows, there was a lot of heart as well. Over Brooklyn Nine-Nine's eight seasons, the squad became a found family, so it was deeply emotional when members of the team faced heightened or dangerous situations. As the show gained popularity by the middle of its run, the sitcom took time to address real-world issues like racial profiling and workplace sexual harassment.
Weaving in heavy topics while remaining true to its comedic core is a testament to the writers and cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) led the cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and his arc mimics the maturity of the show, especially in the later seasons when the show explored the detectives' personal lives. Later seasons also reflected a shift in cultural perspectives toward police work, leaning more into longer arcs about systematic corruption.

There have been plenty of great sci-fi comedies in the last decade, from underrated gems to award winners and summer blockbusters. Sci-fi comedies are often best when they balance their two genres well. Movies like Back to the Future and Men in Black, for example, have thrilling stories and intriguing sci-fi concepts, as well as great jokes and strong comedic performances.
In the last 10 years, sci-fi comedies have been used to lovingly poke fun at the genre, but sci-fi has also been used as a guise to facilitate plenty of social commentary and satire. Movies like Sorry to Bother You, Palm Springs and The Lobster all use sci-fi concepts to show how unusual everyday life has become for people in the here and now. Other sci-fi comedies have used humor to lighten up some cerebral stories that could otherwise be too dystopian and depressing.

The epitome of humor, sarcasm, and all the eccentric things you could ask for, Brooklyn 99 (also Brooklyn Nine-Nine) holds a long-established reputation as one of the best sitcoms brought to the screens to date. An American police procedural sitcom television series that aired on Fox, and later on NBC, it ruled fans’ hearts for eight seasons made over the course of eight years.

If anything, the show has been so critically and generally commended and has left such an indelible mark on viewers that fans have long been campaigning for a revival series since the show went off-air. But as much as everyone may be yearning for it – especially after Terry Crews’ promise, the said revamped version may never happen, as recently emphasized by Melissa Fumero.

Without getting too political here, it’s easy to point out the similarities to Mike Judge’s Idiocracy and some of our current society. Look, there’s a reason it was re-released ahead of the 2016 election. So do we really need a sequel? Luke Wilson thinks so!
Luke Wilson recently told Business Insider that he is constantly pitching the idea of an Idiocracy sequel to Mike Judge. “I always call Mike and tell him. He’s always busy and always working on a script. But I’ve always told him, how about me and Terry Crews and Dax Shepard coming back to the present day. We see Terry’s Camacho character become president, Dax’s character runs a movie studio. I’m always pitching that to Mike. He gets a kick out of it.”

In the ever-changing world of Hollywood sequels, one film stands out for its star and fans: Mike Judge’s 2006 satirical comedy “Idiocracy.” Actor Luke Wilson has expressed his wish to revisit the film, which has gained unexpected resonance in today’s culture. He has been aggressively presenting sequel ideas to Judge.
Although “Idiocracy” initially bombed at the box office, earning less than $1 million after 20th Century Fox removed it from wide release, it has become a cult favorite. The plot centers on Private Joe Bauers, played by Wilson, who wakes up 500 years in the future to discover he is the brightest person alive. According to Wilson, there is still plenty to explore in this cosmos.

Luke Wilson would reprise his Idiocracy role as Joe Bauers in a heartbeat.
The actor, who starred alongside Dax Shepard, Maya Rudolph and Terry Crews in the original 2006 movie helmed by Mike Judge, recently told Business Insider that he’s “always pitching” sequel ideas to the filmmaker.
“Oh, I always call Mike and tell him,” Wilson said. “He’s always busy and always working on a script. Nearly two decades later, Luke Wilson is surprised by the following his cult satirical comedy Idiocracy (2005) still has.
The actor recently admitted that he’s “always pitching” co-writer/director Mike Judge on a sequel to the film, which starred him and Maya Rudolph as two people mistakenly left in cryosleep for 500 years, awaken in an era when the average human intelligence has decreased so much that Wilson’s Private Joe Bowers is now the smartest man in the world.

“I think we all know who I’m referring to, but I’ve been told not to be the one to name-drop,” Noah Caplan says.
The 20-year-old (already perfectly media-trained) is talking about Andrew Tate, the epitome of what we’ve all come to know as an overused but increasingly pertinent phrase: toxic masculinity. The self-described misogynist and TikTok star is currently awaiting trial in Romania on charges of rape and human trafficking, and his grasp on young men has left an older generation fearful — only last year, a U.K. survey found one in four boys aged 13-15 had a positive view of Tate, who was once banned on then-Twitter for saying women should “bear responsibility” for being sexually assaulted.
It’s this issue that Caplan has dedicated his early career to. The young director tells The Hollywood Reporter he wants to make important films for his peers...

In this week's installment of "What people choose to watch on streamers will never make sense," the aughts comedy "Norbit" is somehow one of the most-watched movies on Amazon's Prime Video. This exceedingly random news comes courtesy of viewership data site FlixPatrol, which as of publication time has the widely panned Eddie Murphy vehicle hovering at number five on its list of the 10 most-watched Prime Video movies in North America. Sure, why not?
To be fair to "Norbit," subscribers seem to be having an odd week in general, with Adam Sandler's "The Longest Yard" also making the list and two Christmas films, "Almost Christmas" and "The Holiday," already entering Prime Video's upper echelons. Still, it's remarkable to see that more people are reportedly watching "Norbit" than are watching newer Prime Video originals, like the Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin-led action comedy "Brothers" (currently number seven on the streaming...

Like any successful sitcom, Abbott Elementary on ABC has managed to bring in some amazing guest stars.
