Judy Crichton was the executive producer of the PBS series "American
Experience" from 1988 to 1996; during her tenure, she was involved in
the production of over one hundred documentaries addressing various
aspects of American history and culture. Before that, she was one of
the first women to produce television network news broadcasts starting
in 1974 as a producer for "CBS Reports".
