Taking its title from the 61 names found in a notebook when he was arrested, 61: Scorecard Killer is based rather loosely on the crimes of Randy Kraft. Kraft was convicted of the rape and murder of sixteen young men and is suspected of fifty-one other killings. Kraft was arrested in 1983 after police pulled him over for a suspected DUI and found a dead body in his car’s passenger seat.
The biggest difference between fact and fiction is that directors Poison Rouge and Domiziano Cristopharo have updated the film to the present day. We see this right away in the prelude, as Randy, uses his smartphone to print out photos of murder victims to post on his wall and dance naked in front of.
And this is as good a time as any to mention...

You may have seen that recently here on Nerdly we’ve been reviewing a few more “underground” horror titles thanks to distributors Tetrovideo, films such as Vore Gore, Nightmare Symphony and Thanatomorphose. Now whilst we haven’t covered many underground/extreme horror on the site in the past – though we have reviewed films like Lung, American Guinea Pig: Bucket of Guts and Gore, Mecanix and Your Flesh Your Curse – that doesn’t mean we don’t watch a Lot of them. So with that in mind here’s a rundown of our Top 5 Extreme Films… in no particular order and with a caveat that, should you choose to watch these for yourself, you have a strong stomach and a penchant for debauchery and gore!

TetroVideo is releasing Nightmare Symphony, a new film from Italian filmmaker Domiziano Cristopharo and homage to Lucio Fulci's 1990 film Nightmare Concert/A Cat in the Brain. They recently released a new poster for the film, which you can see to the left and a larger version down below. Posters for giallo films do tend to be rather pretty and this one for Crisopharo's film doesn't deviate from the trend. We have also included some stills from the production and the trailer further down. If you're somehow new to giallo you need to know that some of the imagry in the stills and the trailer is of the Nsfw variety. For fans of the extreme we have two exclusive images from TetroVideo's upcoming release Confessions of a Necrophile Girl, directed by Domiziano Cristopharo. We've written about Cristopharo's brand of horror in the past so we should all know that it slides right into the extreme. Very, extreme. So the following logline should not be a surprise for us. Karen relives the most important moments of her life through a video diary: from childhood to first love, to the scandal about her sexual attraction for corpses. Confessions of a Necrophile Girl is part of TetroVideo's Tetromaniac series of releases, films that were inspired by real events. This story in particular is about Karen Greenlee, who worked at...

Italian director Domiziano Cristopharo (A Taste of Phobia and Ill) is preparing to shop a new project called The Obsessed at the Marche du Film at Cannes next month. I do not know how much extreme horror the market gets each year but Cristopharo clearly intends to make a bid for most extreme entry. He also tells me that The Obsessed will also be the first Albanian horror movie ever made. Screen Anarchy has been given a very short, but holy shit bloody, clip to share with you to help Cristopharo launch the project. We also have a quartet of images to share with you as well. These too are also of the extreme nature, one featuring some way fucked up phallic prosthetics. ...

Tagline: "14 International Directors Push Fear to the Limit." Artsploitation Films is set to bring fourteen tales of terror to horror audiences. Characters must face their fears, before they grow worse. A selection of the directors include: Domiziano Cristopharo, Jason Impey and Sunny King. This anthology will be available in late June. And, the film's release details are available here. The very gory trailer shows characters in the middle of their fears. A woman has the hairs of leg removed in "Caetophobia (fear of hairs)." The results are a bit stomach churning. A porn shoot moves ahead, at a slow speed in "Partenophobia" (fear of virgins). The makers of Phantasmagoria have sent along this beautiful one-sheet for their film. The art hails from the Italian poster group Malleus. In this French/Italian anthology production, three directors - Mickael Abbate, Domiziano Cristopharo and Tiziano Martella - offer us their original visions of fear in three gripping films: Diabolique, Il serpente dalla lingua acciaio and My Gift to You. Cristina Puccinelli (L’Ultimo Weekend), Venantino Venantini (City of the Living Dead), Sophie Pâris and newcomer Maya Dolan recently joined the cast. When we last reported on the film, it was described as "a vibrating tribute to William Castle’s cinema, but also an introduction to [three] original visions of fear in three gripping films that encompass the breadth of the genre."

Watching Writer/Director Domiziano Cristopharo’s House Of Flesh Mannequins is like experiencing a lengthy nightmare from which you cannot wake – and I mean that in the best possible way.
As the viewer, we are left to wander through a dark and twisted dreamscape full of unforgettable, haunting imagery that could very well fit right in with Dante Alighieri’s masterful vision of hell Inferno.
One just cannot simply explain the plot of Hofm, it is a film that is best gone into knowing very little about, so that you may experience the full effect of wandering in the dark as this startling nightmare unfolds before your very eyes.
However, it should be said that this might not be the horror film for everyone – it is an experience that could be alienating to some due to its extreme nature, and it features explicit sexual acts and,...

The Italian exploitation thriller, The House of Flesh Mannequins, will receive a worldwide DVD release February 21, 2012. This psychological drama by controversial director/writer Domiziano Cristopharo will be sure to be deeply disturbing because of the subject matter being explored.
This film features Sebastian Rhys (Domiziano Arcangeli, “Showtime’s Zalman King’s Chromium Blue”), a loner, whose life is about to change. I’m not sure what to make of the trailer for Italian director Domiziano Cristopharo third full length feature Bloody Sin.
The trailer for the film which stars Francesco Venditti, Roberta Gemma and Nancy de Lucia among others, starts off in the middle ages, complete with dark chambers and a big dollop of torture and then partway through changes gears completely and turns into a 70s disco inspired picture which doesn’t even look like a horror film (though there isn’t much to suggest that it’s not as the second part of the trailer is mostly title cards).
The film’s official synopsis gives a sort of explanation on the stylistic and tonal change though I’d love to see a trailer that gives us a little more of the 70s portion:

Italian director Domiziano Cristopharo from House of Flesh Mannequins and The Museum of Wonders has completed shooting on Bloody Sins and the film was released in Italy January 1st, 2010. There is no word on when the film will be shown in North America, however, a new trailer for the feature can be seen inside that pays bloody respect to the Spanish Inquisition and the "Nazis in World War II" (Horror). Scenes of torture and sadism spice up Cristopharo's latest, which seems light on dialogue and heavy on the surreal. Step inside Cristopharo's nightmare with this first clip from Bloody Sins inside.
