Harvey Crossland is a director, writer and executive producer, known for Hudson & Rex (2020 - 2023) Murdoch Mysteries (2009 - 2021) and Ruby And The Well (2022 - 2023).

He holds dual Canadian and Irish citizenship and is able to travel and work with both a Canadian and an EU passport.
Harvey began his film and television career in Vancouver, Canada where he co-founded two production companies - Hy Perspectives Media Group and Siren Films. His production of the feature docudrama CLOSE TO HOME, about the continuum of sexual abuse, runaways and juvenile prostitution, became a nationally acclaimed MOW. His documentary SOMEWHERE BETWEEN helped end legislative discrimination of Indigenous women under The Indian Act.
