Ryszard Czekala was born on 5 March 1941 in Bydgoszcz, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland. He was a writer and director, known for Zofia (1976), Syn (1970) and The Roll-Call (1971). He died on 30 October 2010 in Kraków, Malopolskie, Poland.
