- Yvonne D'Angers was born on September 2, 1944 in Tehran, Iran. She was an actress, known for Ground Zero (1973), Sappho Darling (1968) and The Seven Minutes (1971). She was married to Voss Boreta. She died on June 10, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

- One of the first topless dancers in America. She gained fame by performing in the North Beach area of San Francisco with other dancers like Carol Doda. Both were involved in obscenity trials in San Francisco in the 1960's that delivered favorable verdicts for the owners of the night clubs where they performed. In 1966, D'Angers chained herself to the Golden Gate Bridge as a protest against her ordered deportation to Iran, which was overturned in 1968.
- Yvonne played Cleopatra at the opening of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in 1966. She was among those hired to roam the property, accompanied by random gladiators and waving royally at patrons.
