A new episode of the Revisited video series has just been released, and with this one we’re looking back at the 2005 video game adaptation Doom (watch it Here) – a movie that didn’t spawn the sort of franchise the game did, but there was a second movie that was released direct-to-video in 2019. Oddly, the title of that movie was Doom: Annihilation, just like the original video game adaptation of Mortal Kombat received a sequel called Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Elrond Saw Darkness in the Rings, Despite the High King's Orders

Galadriel (played by Morfydd Clark) recently unveiled the truth: Halbrand was Sauron's human disguise, which the High King Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker) didn't take lightly.

As a part of their last hope, the High King believes that the three rings would be their last hope in saving the elven kingdom. Eldron (Robert Aramayo), on the other hand, refused to believe that Sauron's creations would help them from their tragic fate.

“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” is back for Season 2, and this time around there are a number of new characters to keep straight. With Sauron revealed to be Halbrand at the end of Season 1, the chess pieces are now fully in the open and the Dark Lord is masquerading as yet another new character this season in order to try and forge the titular rings. We’ve also got drama with the dwarves, in-fighting amongst the elves and that guy who most definitely is Gandalf is wandering the desert with a harfoot.

Absent in Season 2 is Nazanin Boniadi who played Bronwyn, who exited the show. But new to the cast are Ciaran Hinds, Rory Kinnear and plenty more filling out this prequel series that tackles J.R.R. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power returned on Thursday morning with a thrilling flashback, lots of deception, and a problematic partnership. Let’s recap just the first of the three new episodes, now streaming on Prime Video.

As Season 2 opens, Sauron (played by Charlie Vickers) addresses his hordes at Forodwaith. Adar (Sam Hazeldine, replacing Joseph Mawle), the dastardly Orc who caused so much trouble last season, stands nearby, his expression unreadable. The Orcs bristle at Sauron’s admission that many of them will die in pursuit of “this new, perfect order,” but none move against him. Not yet.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is back on Prime Video for a second season. We visit new locations and meet new characters in the first three episodes, available to stream now. That includes Círdan, a shipwright who is among the oldest elves in Middle-earth.

Círdan is played by English actor Ben Daniels, who you may recognize from his turn as the campy vampire Santiago in AMC's Interview With The Vampire, a role he absolutely crushed. For that reason alone, I'm looking forward to seeing him on The Rings of Power.

Daniels' personal life is also of interest, since it intersects with the star of another big fantasy series. English actor Ian Gelder played Tywin Lannister's younger brother Keven for years on HBO's Game of Thrones. As it ends up, Gelder and Daniels were partners in real life.

Evil reveals itself. Ahead of its premiere, Prime Video has released the final trailer for Season 2 of “The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power.” The big-budget high fantasy series is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s original “Lord of the Rings” trilogy during the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history. Per the official Season 2 logline, after being cast out by Galadriel without army or ally, Sauron has returned, and the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power. The team working on season two of Amazon Prime’s Lord of the Rings series had another challenge as well. Exclusive: Prime Video is planning another big splash for its hit series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power at San Diego Comic-Con.

This year at Sdcc, ahead of the series’ Season 2 premiere on August 29, the streamer will host an exclusive press and influencer reception by invitation only on Thursday, July 25, in San Diego. It will be followed by The Rings of Power panel in Hall H on Friday from 11:05 a.m.-12:15 p.m. featuring the series’ showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay as well as cast giving fans a inside look at Season 2 in Middle-earth.

Curtains rise on the trial for Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Claudia (Delainey Hayles), and Madeleine (Roxane Duran), who broke the Five Immortal Vampire Laws, and the legal procedural dismisses traditional rules of regular programming. Everything is scripted, but feels as off-book as Lestat de Lioncourt’s (Sam Reid) disregard for counseled testimony. The implicit danger of the approach is subtle, undeniable, and unique. AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universal is getting set to expand with third series “The Talamasca,” and we’ve learned that “Interview with the Vampire” has also been renewed.

Ahead of the Season 2 finale on June 30, “Interview with the Vampire” Season 3 has been officially ordered up by AMC. Deadline details, “In Season 3, the Vampire Lestat sets his story straight in a way only he can—by starting a band and going on tour. Gabrielle. Nicholas. Magnus. Marius. Those Who Must Be Kept.”

AMC further teases today, “They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage across space, time and trauma.”

Just days ahead of Sunday’s season two finale, AMC Networks has renewed Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire for a third season.

The season three logline reads: “Resentful of the perfunctory portrayal in the trashy best-seller Interview With the Vampire, the Vampire Lestat sets his story straight in a way only the Vampire Lestat can — by starting a band and going on tour. Gabrielle. Nicholas. Magnus. Marius. Those Who Must Be Kept. They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage across space, time and trauma. No Auto-Tuning. No Trigger Warnings. All Feels Amplified.”

The second season stars Jacob Anderson, along with Sam Reid, Eric Bogosian, Assad Zaman, Delainey Hayles and Ben Daniels. The season two finale releases Sunday on AMC+ and at 9 p.

AMC Networks has staked its claim for more “Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire.” The series has been renewed for Season 3 on AMC and streaming outlet AMC+, the outlets announced Wednesday. News comes just days before the show’s Season 2 finale (which airs June 30).

The series was the first in AMC’s expanding “Anne Rice Immortal Universe,” which now also includes “Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches” (which is in production on Season 2) and the just-ordered tentatively titled “Anne Rice’s The Talamasca.”

“Interview With the Vampire” stars Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac — the vampire who reconnects with interviewer Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) nearly 50 years after their initial sessions. Sam Reid plays the famed Vampire Lestat, while Season 2 also features Assad Zaman (Armand), Delainey Hayles (Claudia) and Ben Daniels (Santiago).

Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire has been renewed for a third season by AMC Networks ahead of the show’s Season 2 finale airing on June 30.

Whether you asked for it or not, Prime Video’s epic fantasy series based on The Lord of the Rings appendices by legendary author J.R.R. Tolkien is back with its much-anticipated second season. Created by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, The Rings of Power had a pretty turbulent first season even with its massive budget of $1 billion but still it was one of the most watched shows on Prime Video, so maybe this season the creators of the series will change hearts and minds of frustrated fans.

In Season 2, Sauron has officially returned and after being cast out by Galadriel and without any allies he must rebuild his power through his cunning to oversee the creation of the Rings of Power. His ultimate plan with the rings is to bend the people of Middle-earth to his will. While the Dark Lord is rising our heroes are also getting ready for his eventual attack.

A renowned Lord of the Rings character who didn’t see the light of day in the Peter Jackson movies is finally making his grand debut in season 2 of Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and that’s Tom Bombadil, who’ll be played by already announced Rory Kinnear. At the time of Kinnear’s announcement, it wasn’t revealed exactly which character he’d be playing in a recurring role.

In the J.R.R. Tolkien tome, Bombadil saves Frodo and the other hobbits from myriad perils. In season 2, Bombadil encounters the Stranger (Daniel Weyman) and his Harfoot friends Nori (Markella Kavenagh) and Poppy (Megan Richards) on their journey to eastern Middle-earth.

The second episode of “Interview with the Vampire” Season 2 introduced what fans of the Vampire Chronicles have been waiting for when Louis and Claudia finally crossed the threshold of the iconic Theatres des Vampires. The episode, titled “Do You Know What It Means To Be Loved By Death,” began with Louis and Armand co-narrating the memory of their first-ever meeting on the streets of postwar Paris and ended with Louis and Claudia’s quest to find more vampires at an end as not one, not two, but fourteen new vampires enter stage right and take their places in “Interview’s” story.

Sam Hazeldine Replaces Joseph Mawle as Adar

Initially played by Joseph Mawle, Adar will be played by Sam Hazeldine in The Rings of Power season 2, instead.

Although Mawle had not explained his departure from the show, he did write, "Best to cast and crew for S2, I'll be cheering you on from the sidelines X."

Sam Hazeldine is best known for playing recurring roles in Peaky Blinders as George Sewell, Rain Dogs as Paul, Slow Horses as Moe, and most recently, in Masters of the Air as Lt. Col. Albert 'Bub' Clark.
