Joshua Davis is a New York Times bestselling author, film producer, and the co-founder of Epic Magazine, a company acquired by Vox Media in March 2019.
Josh began his career as a journalist at Wired, where he wrote many of the most popular stories in the magazine's history. He has been nominated for the National Magazine Award, the Lukas Book Prize and anthologized in multiple editions of "The Best Technology Writing." In addition to Wired, he has written for The New Yorker, GQ, Outside, Mens Journal, Mens Health, Maxim and Food & Wine. He covered the war in Iraq, the revolution in Libya and a FARC uprising in the coca fields of Southern Colombia.
In 2014, Farrar Strauss Giroux published his third book, Spare Parts, a chronicle of the triumph of a small robotics team. The book was a New York Times bestseller and named one of the best new books by Amazon and the BBC. The film version was released by Lionsgate in 2015 and stars George Lopez, Marisa Tomei, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
