Born and bred in beautiful North Wales, Welsh (Cymraeg) is Robert's native language.
Moved to London in 1986, working backstage in West End shows; A Month of Sundays with George Cole, of Minder fame, Goergy Girl with Paul Nicholas and Cyd Charisse, and was the ASM for the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in the summer of 1986, before starting training at LAMDA for three years. In 2004, played a hardened criminal in a jewellery heist gone wrong in BBC1's CASUALTY, in a two part story. Had fun throwing one of the main characters' off the roof of a multi story car park. As you do. Robert has worked in the theatre in London and Cardiff, as well as doing voice over and radio work in both English and Welsh. Has lived in London off and on for many years, also in Toronto, Canada, and of course in Wales.
