Gertrud de Lalsky(1878-1958)

Elegant, brunette character actress, on stage from 1899. Made her reputation in the silent cinema of the 1910's and 20's, often playing regal historical personae in lavish period dramas. She successfully made the transition to sound and continued to appear in maternal supporting roles until 1945.
