Biography

Born in Los Angeles, and raised in New York City, Jessica DiCicco grew up on the Upper West side of Manhattan. She has been around show business virtually her whole life. Even her birth was announced in both Variety and Us Magazine, since her father, Bobby Di Cicco, was a popular actor in the late 1970s and early '80s with many films to his credit including The Big Red One (1980) and 1941 (1979).

Despite her early exposure to show business, Jessica's acting career actually began unintentionally. During what she thought was a typical day in her second grade class, actress Marlo Thomas selected her from thousands of New York school children to appear on the ABC special Free to Be... a Family (1988). She worked on the show for one year and was heavily featured in the final broadcast. Soon after, Jessica landed her first role in the film The Godfather Part III (1990) followed by the cult classic Household Saints (1993), and booked multiple national commercial spots including Cheerios, Burger King, and a groundbreaking Nike campaign directed by Spike Lee. She also lent her voice to many television and radio projects and appeared in numerous productions for theater, feature film and television, including the lead in a Nickelodeon pilot, Bus No. 9 (1998), which earned her a nomination for a Young Artists Award.

Jessica's ambition and drive also manifested itself in her academics and passion for photography. She was an excellent student, always making her education top priority. Also an outstanding photographer, Jessica was the youngest photographer to ever shoot the cover of New York Magazine, in addition to shooting the entire eight-page cover story. This issue became one of the largest selling issues in New York Magazine's history.

"Jessica got her start in voice acting having once auditioned to voice a four-year-old cartoon bear so convincingly that a Disney casting agent thought he would actually meet a four-year-old actress when he gave her a callback. Soon after, Jessica packed her bags, hopped a plane to LA and started her adventures in voice acting.

Jessica gained a cult following for her role as the feisty Flame Princess in Adventure Time. Her other credits include both Lucy and Lynn in the hit Nickelodeon show The Loud House, she stars as Hanazuki in Hasbro's new YouTube show Hanazuki (she also plays the Blue and Lime Green Hemkas), Hissy in the new Disney Jr show Puppy Dog Pals, the rambunctious Bug in the Disney XD show Future-Worm, the precise and opinionated Pig in the Amazon series "Give a Mouse a Cookie" which is based on the classic children's book series, the ambitious reporter Ash Samaya from X-Ray & Vav (RoosterTeeth), she plays both Tambry and Giffany on BAFTA winning Disney series Gravity Falls, Malina from the Disney Channel classic show The Emperor's New School (Daytime Emmy Nomination), the evil Selina in Winx Club (BTVA Award), the real life puppy Freddy on Disney's Dog With a Blog, Toby in Sheriff Callie's Wild West, Lexi Bunny on Loonatics Unleashed, Patches in Pound Puppies, and most recently can be heard as the iconic SuperGirl in Lego: Justice League Cosmic Clash which was just released. You can also hear her on the brand new show DC Girlsin which Jessica plays both Star Sapphire and Lashina.

She's also lent her voice to many notable video games such as Lumina in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, child Sim in Sims 4, Toddler in the Sims 4: Toddlers expansion pack, Elida in Lego: Legends of Chima, she stars as Leanne in Resonance of Fate, and Olette in Kingdom Hearts II and more. You can hear her as a villain in the upcoming Agents of Mayhem spin-off from the Saints Row franchise.

Jessica was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role of Malina in Emperor's New School. She was voted Voice Actress of the Year by BTVA in 2015.

Jessica became a go-to actress for babies' voices on live action TV. Fun fact, she uttered Lilly's first word on Modern Family.
