Born on December 28, 1951 in the small village of Bratca, in Romania's
Bihor area, Pohus began working in the film industry as a director in
1984. He went on to work as a producer at the Profilms Bucharest
creative and cinematic studio, integrating film production and
distribution into his own company, GCC S.R.L. With the help of the
studio, he produced several artistic films and documentaries, as a
general and executive producer. He has worked with various Romanian and
Hungarian film directors, such as Serban Marinescu, Constantin Vaeni,
Dinu Tanase, Gyula Maar, Mihalfyi Sandor and Andras Ferencz, as well as
famous actors such as Maia Morgenstein, George Constantin and Horatiu
Malaele.
