We're hunting down all the Marvel Easter eggs we can find in Daredevil season 3. Here's what we've found so far...
This Daredevil Season 3 article consists of nothing but spoilers. We have a spoiler free review right here if you prefer.
Marvel's Daredevil Season 3 has finally arrived on Netflix, and kids, it is spectacular. This is one of the best seasons in the entire Marvel Netflix pantheon, and even though it is (relatively) light on the Marvel Comics references, there is still plenty to unpack, and probably plenty more I'm going to miss on the first viewing.
So here's how this works...I've tried to catch all the cool Marvel references in Daredevil Season 3, but there's only so much I can do. I'm only one man trying to clean up Hell's Kitchen, after all. Let me know anything I missed down in the comments, or hit me up on Twitter.

In 2009, siblings Lisa Donovan and Ben Donovan teamed up with Danny Zappin to create Maker Studios. Five years and $500 million later, Lisa and Ben are leaving their company. The Donovans announced their departure from Maker Studios a few months after its sale to Disney. The Donovans, Zappin, and a few top YouTube creators (including ShayCarl, KassemG, and Philip Defranco) initially formed Maker as one of YouTube's first multi-channel networks. Lisa Donavan was a well-known YouTuber herself; her LisaNova channel has built up 565,000 subscribers and 141 million views, even though she stopped publishing new videos in 2011. Initially, the company put much of its focus on a single channel called The Station, which has since been rebranded as Nacho Punch. With the help of several funding rounds, Maker grew into a massive network that now claims 6.5 billion monthly views and more than 450 million subscribers. At the time of their departure, the Donovan duo...

Maker Studios' board has approved the company's sale to Disney, but a former employee is providing an added hurdle. Three days after the top YouTube network parried ex-ceo Danny Zappin's attempt to break up the acquisition, it is facing a fresh lawsuit from Maker stockholder nm4619027 autoAndy Faberlle[/link]. Faberlle's lawsuit, first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, includes many of the same complains as Zappin's lawsuit, which was launched in June 2013. "With great power comes great responsibility," says Faberlle's complaint. "Upon information and belief, members of Maker's Board of Directors, Mark Suster, Lisa Donovan, Ben Donovan, Rachel Lam, Dana Settle, and Michael Disanto, unhappy with their inability to control Maker and/or obtain a quick return on their invested capital in Maker, orchestrated a scheme to illegally issue enough shares to themselves and those friendly to them that would be required to approve any sale." The full text of Faberlle's lawsuit can be read here.

Former Maker Studios employee Andy Faberlle has hit the digital studio with a new lawsuit that demands a rescission of the Disney merger. Faberlle identifies himself as a Maker stockholder. His LinkedIn profile says he worked at the company from April 2011 to August 2013 as Director of Partnerships. His lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday makes many of the same fraud claims made by ex-ceo Danny Zappin. "With great power comes great responsibility," says the complaint. The 2012 Fall Television Season officially unofficially began last night when NBC sneak-peeked its new comedy Go On to go with its coverage of the Olympic Games from jolly ole Engle-land. If you missed it, don't worry! You're not totally boned! NBC has released the pilot online and we've embedded it below so you don't have to go anywhere to watch it.
Go On stars Matthew Perry (Ben Donovan Chandler's back!) as a sports radio chatterbox that is forced into group therapy after his wife suddenly dies. There he meets a wacky group of characters all dealing with their own loss. It's actually pretty good, and is unique in that it couples comedy with some... More >>...

Maker Studios made out big with YouTube's big announcement last night revealing its first wave of original channels. Maker Studios was one of the big winners with three original channels—the most channels awarded to any producer. Of the 96 original channels announced yesterday, most only received one; only six other producers were given three channels: Bedrocket Media, BermanBraun, Clevver Media, Demand Media, Electus, and IconicTV. YouTube has committed over $100 million dollars for its latest content initiative, tapping A-list producers and top talent to create premium content. Yet unlike many of the new Hollywood-focused channels blessed by YouTube, what Maker founders Dan Zappin, Lisa Donovan, and Ben Donovan have created along with talent co-founders KassemG, Michael Gallagher, Shay Carl, and many others is something built from the ground up. "YouTube itself has changed the world, some individual videos on YouTube and certain YouTube Partners have impacted the world, and now whole...

The future looks bright for many of ABC's Wednesday night sitcoms. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Mr. Sunshine. The mid-season replacement series has been cancelled after one season.
Mr. Sunshine follows the life of the Manager of Operations at San Diego's Sunshine Center sports arena, Ben Donovan (Matthew Perry). His job isn't easy nor made any easier by his crazy boss (Allison Janney), marketing director (Andrea Anders), crazy new assistant (Portia Doubleday), best friend (James Lesure), or his boss' less-than-skilled son (Nate Torrence).
The sitcom got off to a strong start with a 3.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.52 million viewers. Unfortunately, the TV series lost 30% of its audience demo in week two and another 15% in week three. Future episodes went up and down a bit but also experienced a couple of serious declines. Matthew Perry makes sure that his sobriety stays on top of his priority list. The Chandler Bing of "Friends" has struggled with prescription pills and alcohol in the past, and on Thursday, May 12, he announced that he is going to take a break from the show business and returns a treatment facility to continue his recovery.
In a statement he released via his representative, the actor who stars opposite Zac Efron in "17 Again" said, "I'm making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery." Keeping his sense of humor intact, he added, "Please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web."
The 41-year-old actor has made a trip to rehab twice before. One was when he was shooting "Friends" in 1997, while the other one was in 2001. Despite the actor's history with prescription-pill addiction and alcohol abuse, a source told People magazine,...

Maker Studios has been relatively quiet as it ramps up its staff in its new Venice, CA homebase, building out a veritable powerhouse of top YouTube creative talent. Now word comes that the studio has raised around $1.5 million in funding in a round led by Greycroft Partners and Grp partners. Mark Suster, a partner at Grp partners (and host of web show This Week in Venture Capital) is also listed as a Board member in a recent SEC filing for Maker Studios. The company confirmed the funding round to us, and it’s now already listed as an active part of Greycroft’s investment portfolio, alongside recent investments like Ad.ly, Klout and Vuze. It didn’t confirm the exact size of the round, though in the SEC Form D filing from January, the company stated it plans on raising $1,524,999, with five directors listed including founders Ben Donovan, Lisa Donovan (aka LisaNova), Daniel Zappin,...

Does it have a sunny future or will it be cancelled before it gets a second season?

ABC recently introduced a new sitcom to its popular Wednesday night, Mr. Sunshine. Will Matthew Perry's new show find as much success as his former Friends castmate Courteney Cox's Cougar Town?
On Mr. Sunshine, Perry plays Ben Donovan, the Manager of Operations at San Diego's Sunshine Center sports arena. As he turns 40, Ben finds himself navigating though a seemingly never-ending series of bizarre requests, curious mishaps, and employee screw upse. It doesn't help that he has a crazy boss (Allison Janney), sleeps with his marketing director (Andrea Anders), has a crazy new assistant (Portia Doubleday), and must put up with his boss' less-than-skilled son (Nate Torrence). Ben's best friend (James Lesure) works with him as well but also has a relationship with the marketing director.

'Mr. Sunshine' has been struggling to find its footing in the ABC Wednesday comedy lineup, but the young show has had its share of laugh-out-loud moments, mainly courtesy of Allison Janney and her loopy character Crystal.
Crystal owns the Sunshine Center, where Ben Donovan (Matthew Perry) works as the arena manager. In the first handful of episodes, we've seen that Crystal could be out of it in some instances, and completely on top of things the next moment. We've seen Crystal drag her anxiety-paralyzed pup through a dog show, plow through a churro cake made for her by her employees, and use a child as a human shield in defense of what she thought were murderous clowns.
And, in this exclusive clip from tonight's episode, airing at 9:30Pm Et, we see Crystal skating with a Smurf. Yep, you read that right.

"Look, I wish it didn't have to be this way, but I'm a nightmare," Nick Jonas tells Matthew Perry in Wednesday's episode of ABC's newest comedy, "Mr. Sunshine."
Jonas guest stars as temperamental popstar (though he'd prefer you call him a rock star) Eli White, who is set to perform a concert at the Sunshine Arena. If, of course, manager Ben Donovan (Perry) can keep him happy enough to get on stage.
Eli's demands are... unique. "Here's the problem," he tells Ben. "I wasn't parented properly, and I'm very rich. It's a brutal combination. So I'm going to need you to get me a box set of the first season of 'Brothers & Sisters.' Just because they're grown up doesn't mean family gets any easier."

Matthew Perry is no dummy. After over three decades in this business -- 10 years of that on 'Friends,' one of the most popular shows in TV history -- 'Mr. Sunshine''s leading man is pulling out all the stops to make his new show a success (Wednesdays, 9:30Pm Et on ABC).
This week's big draw? Guest star Nick Jonas as Eli White, a teen rock star playing at the Sunshine Center who is moody, demanding and hell-bent on making Perry's Ben Donovan miserable.
I caught up with Jonas, who is genuinely funny in this episode and shows off some serious acting chops, to talk about his inspiration for Eli and his own celebrity demands. He also dished about his favorite TV shows, wanting to be on 'Glee' and the most random people he follows on Twitter.

"Mr. Sunshine" is Matthew Perry's return to a regular series after the unfortunate "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" misstep (a show which did not live up to the high expectations but which was not nearly as bad a show as many viewed it at the time; it was just a misfire). Perry plays Ben Donovan, the manager of operations for the Sunshine Center, a San Diego stadium that plays host to the local ice hockey team and, in the premiere, a circus. Presumably, the stadium also hosts concerts and rallies and the like. Donovan is tasked with running the joint and making sure everyone has a good time, and there's no question that the show is envisioned to be Perry's vehicle -- he is, of course, "Mr. Sunshine" (because of his job and "ironically" because of his less-than-sunny disposition).

Coming to you tonight, Matthew Perry returns to television in Mr. Sunshine. He's the general manager of the Sunshine Center, an arena that hosts a variety of sports events, the circus, political rallies, and who knows what else, and he's responsible for making everything run smoothly. That requires a special kind of chaotic dance, and Ben Donovan (Perry), well... he muddles through, generally without causing more damage than he's trying to prevent.
It would be a tricky enough job just with the maintenance issues, employee relations, and missing elephants, but he also has to deal with his unpredictable boss, Crystal (Allison Janney). Part of the trouble there is that she has thrown her son Roman (Nate Torrence) at him, and demanded that Ben find him a job somewhere among the arena's countless staffing opportunities. Obviously, Roman has no skills whatever, beyond a certain knack for looking rather goofy. That and...

'Cougar Town' fans looking for their favorite comedy on Wednesday night are in for a surprise.
'Mr Sunshine' (9:30Pm Et Wednesday, ABC), which is taking 'Cougar Town''s slot for a couple of months, does star a former 'Friends' actor, but it doesn't exactly go down as smoothly as a glass of delectable pinot noir.
'Mr. Sunshine' is Chandler noir, if anything. Perry's 'Sunshine' character, arena manager Ben Donovan, is more or less Chandler Bing, older, not much wiser and in a lonely place.

Matthew Perry returns to TV in "Mr. Sunshine" on Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. Est on ABC. The single-camera sitcom, which Perry co-created, should have all the makings of a great comedy, but the pilot falls a bit short. Developed with "Friends" producer Jamie Tarses and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" producer Thomas Schlamme, "Mr. Sunshine" boasts big stars... but no likable characters.
Perry plays Ben Donovan, a self-described "emotionally broken" man who manages a sports arena in San Diego. On his 40th birthday, Donovan has a bit of a breakthrough, realizing that he's selfish, narcissistic, and unreliable. Unfortunately... he's also not very funny. Sure, we love seeing Perry on our TV, and there's a certain comfort in his familiar Chandler Bing sarcasm, but it's not actually enough to make us sympathize with his character. There's probably a "Friends" rerun playing on some other channel, anyway.

"Mr. Sunshine" revolves around Perry's Ben Donovan who is a self-involved manager of a second-rate San Diego sports arena. The venue often caters for various events, including music concerts. "In the first 12 episodes, we've had dog shows and BMX shows and concerts.

Mr. Sunshine star Matthew Perry has insisted that his new role as Ben Donovan is different to his Friends character Chandler Bing. In a recent conference call, the actor acknowledged that many viewers still associate him with the quick-witted Chandler. "I think it's kind of tough because we obviously look almost exactly alike," he quipped. "So that's the first hurdle right there, although I look a little older now." He added: "I feel the character I'm doing is a little more beaten-down (more)...

A former Friend and ex-Chief of Staff are making their returns to the small screen.
On Mr. Sunshine, Matthew Perry stars as Ben Donovan, the manager of a San Diego sports arena who starts to re-evaluate his life after turning 40. His erratic boss is played by The West Wing veteran Allison Janney.
That's an impressive pedigree for a sitcom that premieres February 9, bumping Cougar Town off the ABC schedule for a few weeks. Get your first look at Mr. Sunshine here and decide: Is it worth a shot?

Lizzy Caplan is back in business with Sony TV and studio-based producer Jamie Tarses -- she has signed on for a guest shot on their new ABC series Mr. Sunshine starring Matthew Perry. Caplan famously stepped in at the last minute to play a lead on the Sony/Tarses pilot for CBS Mad Love as a guest star and helped the pilot score a midseason order but she also caused a holdup in the deal as the network and the studio first tried to persuade her to stay on and then had to find a replacement when she declined. (Judy Greer was eventually cast in the role.) Mr. Sunshine stars Perry as Ben Donovan, the sports arena manager for the Sunshine Center, a second-tier arena in San Diego. Caplan will play a woman with whom Ben has a romantic interlude and then is surprised to see her showing up at...

Matthew Perry has admitted that he enjoyed exploring the selfish side of his character in upcoming ABC sitcom Mr. Sunshine. The actor told TV Guide that he could relate to his new role of sports arena manager Ben Donovan. "I like to say this character is me five years ago," he revealed. "I'm very in touch with that selfish guy trying to have a better life." Perry explained that he was amused by the idea of "how confused a selfish person would be if he was told the way to a better life is to be a nicer person". He compared the character's journey to his own battle with drug addiction during the mid '90s. "Just pick up any paper (more)...

Matthew Perry's character in "Mr. Sunshine" is a selfish guy who, at age 40, is finally waking up to the idea that he might want or need other people in his life.
"They say write what you know," the former "Friends" star joked Sunday (Aug. 1) at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
"Mr. Sunshine" -- which will premiere at midseason on ABC -- stars Perry as Ben Donovan, who manages a sports arena in San Diego and gets a wakeup call from his kinda-sorta girlfriend, Alice (Andrea Anders, "Better Off Ted"), tells him that "he's very nice, he's fun to be around, but nobody can really take him seriously because he only thinks about himself."
That leads Ben to try to make some changes in his life, and his fumbling attempts to do that -- along with the myriad performers coming in and out of the arena -- are what Perry,...

At ABC’s TCA panel on his new show Mr. Sunshine, which he stars in, executive produces, and co-writes, Matthew Perry was in fine form. He was sardonic about everything, even his own well-publicized problems with Vicodin addiction in the mid-1990s that made him something less than a Mr. Sunshine. Perry made clear that his character, Ben Donovan, who's the manager of a second-tier sports arena in San Diego and in Perry’s words a “selfish jerk, was not-so-loosely based on himself. “The reason that my character has only thought about himself is I knew somebody for whom that was the case for a long time.. I’m much nicer now.” Perry, now 40, was asked whether anything specific changed him for the better. “I would say if you want to find out the answer to that, just pick up any newspaper from 1996 or look at any magazine cover.” Perry cracked.

ABC Entertainment Group president Stephen McPherson appeared before advertisers on Tuesday, May 18 at Lincoln Center to make a presentation of its new series. The Alphabet has picked 10 newbies but only some of them will be debuted this Fall. The rest, along with "V" and "Supernanny" are reserved for Midseason.
"Our passion for great storytelling is at the core of everything we do," said McPherson in the press release. "Finding and supporting writers, directors, producers and actors who share that passion is critical to our success. Our shows are the product of these collaborations, and we are thrilled to add 10 new series to our schedule next year."
The network has let go one of its strongest programs, "Lost", which is coming to an end this Sunday, May 23. In order to balance between the drama, comedy and sci-fi, the network has picked up "No Ordinary Family" to fill the Tuesday slot.

The Fall TV Season presentations for all the new network shows take place this week with the third announced today. Here's a full breakdown of which concepts have made the final list over on ABC.
The Alphabet solidly finished this past season with five of the top fifteen highest-rated TV series in the key Adults 18-49 demographic - "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost," "Desperate Housewives," "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Bachelor". Yet there's an obvious concern that the network has been floundering a bit when it comes to new shows - especially in terms of scripted drama which has been its greatest strength in modern times.
ABC had success launching four comedies last year, with both "Cougar Town" and "Modern Family" becoming ratings hits and the latter drawing critical acclaim. "Hank" outright flopped, but "The Middle" did well enough to get renewed. With reality shows it continues to do strong business...

"Lost" is done. "Ugly Betty" was canceled. "Desperate Housewives" and "Grey's" are beginning to seriously show their age. Kelsey Grammer's "Hank" and "Eastwick" were complete failures. "Flash Forward" was a mess and "V" has been a disappointment. "Scrubs" and "Better Off Ted" have sadly been canceled, "Happy Town" has, ahem, happily been canceled, "Romantically Challenged" has been quickly canceled, on and on. I think it's safe to say that ABC is in a bit of flux right now.
On the plus side for the network, "Dancing with the Stars" remains a ratings deliverer, and "The Bachelor" inexplicably is still watched by too many people. "Castle" has turned into a reliable little show for the Alphabet, and Nathan Fillion is actually about to enter the third season of a TV show. The network also found comedy gold in "Modern Family," arguably the best freshman comedy of last year (depending on the day,...
