Venyamin Dorman was born on 12 February 1927 in Odessa, Ukrainian SSR, USSR [now Ukraine]. He was a director and writer, known for Propavshaya ekspeditsiya (1975), The Secret Agent's Blunder (1968) and Priezzhayte na Baykal (1966). He died on 22 January 1988.
