Anthony Asquith’s unusual look at wartime espionage garnered good notices in 1958, perhaps from reviewers rebelling against the trend toward ruthless screen violence. Star Paul Massie is fine as an emotionally-stricken Allied assassin who balks at carrying out his mission; the acting support from Irene Worth and Leslie French is superb. Screenwriter Paul Dehn was an ace at sharp, no-nonsense thrillers, but this story is soft around the edges — it seems to be explaining non-chivalric warfare to your sweet old grandmother. Which reminds us, Lillian Gish has a small role, too.

On Tuesday, Conan O'Brien introduced "Comedy For DVRs," a segment that is basically a little Easter egg for all of us who do nothing for his Nielson ratings (yet).
The only way to enjoy the joke, you see, is to pause... and pause... and pause.
This inaugural gag was called "Rejected Game Of Thrones" characters and, like SNL's "Fox & Friends" corrections, it's a long list that flies by way too fast to read. Fortunately, we had nothing better to do than painstakingly transcribe the full list, and we're here to tell you, it was worth it.
Watch the clip above, then check out the rejected names below and let us know which are your favorites. Personally, we're holding out hope that one day "Lady Sideboob Of Huffington" and "K.D. Langister" turn up on GoT.

Since Facebook’s initial public offering on May 17, the social networking site is now worth $115 billion, which means that its founders — and many others — just got a lot richer. EW spoke with Fox Business Network reporter Sandra Smith, who gave us the rundown on how much Mark Zuckerberg, Sean Parker, Eduardo Saverin and the Winklevoss twins stand to make since Facebook went public. And it’s a lot more than the actors who played them on-screen in The Social Network are pulling in. Check below to see how much fatter Zuckerberg’s, Parker’s, Saverin’s and the Winkelvosses’ wallets...

A TV personality. A syrupy smooth voice on the radio. A long-running game show host.
And, of course, a winning smile to ring in the new year. Every year.
Few growing up in the last century didn't welcome 'America's oldest teenager' into their living rooms.
Dick Clark suffered a heart attack on Wednesday. And, after several attempts to resuscitate him, died in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 82.
Clark's fame didn't come overnight. It began in 1945, as a mail room clerk at a New York radio station. From there, he made the improbable leap to weatherman. And onward to the station's news announcer. Moving onward and upward at a Philadelphia radio and TV station, Clark found himself a substitute host at an afternoon teen dance show called 'Grandstand'.
Well, you know where that ended up -- its name changed to 'American Bandstand,' Clark became its full-time host.

Jeffrey Dahmer, notorious serial killer, didn't quite go unnoticed as many people thought while he was in the midst of his rampages. One of his neighbors, Glenda Cleveland (who passed away last month) was Dahmer's neighbor, and could have possibly been the key to capturing him two months prior to his arrest if police had only adhered to her information.
"Are you sure?" was the question she repeatedly asked police over the telephone when they insisted that a dazed and undressed boy who tried to escape from Dahmer was actually an adult involved in a lovers' disagreement with him.
It is now known that the man wasn't an adult, but was 14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone, and he became Dahmer's next homicide victim. Cleveland's daughter, Sandra Smith, and niece, Nicole Childress, had seen the boy running from the apartment in the alley on May 27, 1991. They were told by police at the scene that everything was under control.

Is there business behind some of those star social network musings? "The Insider"'s got the scoop on "Twitter Inc.," and who might be getting big bucks to tweet! Kim Kardashian has nearly 5 million followers on Twitter and reportedly gets paid $10,000 per tweet. Here is how it may work: Kim sent out a tweet that read, "Where is there a Carl's Jr in the valley? I'm seriously craving that salad!" It just so happens that Kim is featured in some Carl's Jr. ads. In another tweet, Kim tells her followers to pick up Reebok EasyTones with a link to the site where you can purchase the shoes and a photo of Kim in the EasyTones. Kardashian has denied that she gets paid to tweet. Sandra Smith of Fox Business Network says that Kim's sister Kourtney is also reportedly in on the money-making tweets, raking in about five to ten thousand per tweet.

Office comedy tends to focus on making the everyday mundane funny - see everything from Dilbert and Office Space to The Office. It's perfectly natural, of course; they just take the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of office life and stretch it just a little bit further than they normally go, with generally hilarious results. The first episode of AdMuse, created by writer-director-editor-cameraman Terry Miles, quickly establishes that day-to-day-office humor is exactly what AdMuse is not. Over the course of five minutes, copywriter Brickman Mordecai (Casey Manderson) finds friction with creative director Sandra Smith (Michelle Miazga) over an advertisement spot starring tall blonde bikini-clad junior copywriter Jeannie Evans (Kristine Cofsky) for Stuff-It Brand Caulking. "Caulk," purrs Jeannie, and the text overlay simply says "Caulk: Because It's A Verb".
