Minor leading man of second-feature westerns, melodramas and serials for Universal in the 1920s. He was reduced to playing unnamed thugs and henchmen in small supporting roles during the sound era. Former husband of actresses Barbara La Marr and Virginia Brown Faire. Committed suicide.
