- Put under contract to Warner Brothers after her Playboy pictorial appearance, starlet Saundra was brought along slowly and appeared in various Warner movie and TV productions. Oddly, in her first extended speaking part, Holiday at Hollow Rock (1958), Warners showed a lack of confidence in her voice and used fellow contract player Adele Mara to dub her dialogue. Later screen appearances showed that Saundra actually had a pleasant voice.
- She and her husband Tom Gilson, can be seen in one movie, The Crowded Sky (1960), in one quick scene where he's a passenger and she's a flight attendant.
- Separated from her husband of eight months, Tom Gilson, and moved with their eight-month-old son Thomas to her sister and brother-in-law's house in Van Nuys, CA. (August 1962)
- She acted in The Crowded Sky and afterwards, before her career ended after her husband's shooting/death, she appeared in 77 Sunset Strip starring Efram Zimbalist Jr. and the movie Parrish starring Troy Donahue, who are both in The Crowded Sky (1960).
- Gave birth to her youngest child at age 23, son Thomas S. Gilson, Jr., on December 8, 1961. Child's father was her late estranged husband, Tom Gilson.
