Airdorf Games’ video game Faith: The Unholy Trinity is making the leap to the screen, Bloody Disgusting has exclusively learned, with a movie adaptation officially in the works.

Brandon Salisbury, the writer, and director of the highly anticipated documentary George A. Romero’s Resident Evil, has inked a deal with Airdorf Games, the creator of Faith: The Unholy Trinity video game, to bring the horror franchise to the big screen in what promises to be the first installment of a horror trilogy.

Salisbury is joined by Executive Producer Steve Barton, who executive produced the box office hit Terrifier 2. The Directors Guild of America has released a new video of associate directors and stage managers touting their support of the guild’s tentative agreement for new film and TV contract. The pact, which covers directors and members of their teams, is being put to the members for ratification.

The new deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, , which was reached on June 4, was unanimously recommended for ratification by the guild’s board, whose members include Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, 2nd Vice President Ron Howard and 5th Vice President Ava DuVernay. The Directors Guild of America announced additional DGA Awards nominations in the comedy and drama series categories on Friday, with “Watchmen,” “Game of Thrones” and Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” leading the pack.

Other nominees include HBO’s “Barry,” “Succession” and “Veep,” as well as ABC’s “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” and a trio of Netflix comedy specials.

On Monday, the guild announced its nominees in the limited series, reality programming and commercial categories, as well as a number of others. Among the nominees were FX’s “Fosse/Verdon,” Netflix’s “When They See Us,” the “Breaking Bad” prequel “El Camino.”

Winners will be announced at the 72nd Annual DGA Awards on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.

Shudder's Creepshow reboot is bringing the '80s horror anthology back to life and the set has the bloodstains to prove it.

On the calendar behind Greg Nicotero’s desk, every day, from Jan. 7, 2019 through to today, March 28, is marked with a red “X.” The lines are big and emphatic, as though the writer put every last bit of his energy into striking them.

“It seems like yesterday was January 7th and now it's the end of March,” Nicotero says, sinking into a chair in front of the calendar. “There's been no time to even pick anything up.”

Production happens in a near constant state on the Creepshow set and the chaos on the cavernous Atlanta soundstage reflects it. Shudder has announced eight of the twelve segments that will make up Creepshow’s six-episode season, including an adaptation of the Stephen King story “Gray Matter,” adapted by Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi (The Commuter) and directed by series showrunner Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead). The new Creepshow series will also feature the following segments based on stories by other award-winning and acclaimed horror writers:

Horror movie icon Tom Savini recently revealed that he directed an episode of Greg Nicotero’s Creepshow horror anthology series.

During a panel at Monsterpalooza, which I attended last weekend, Savini revealed that he will direct one of the twelve episodes of Shudder’s upcoming series. The episode he helmed is based on Joe Hill’s short story, “By the Silver Water of Lake Champlain”, which centers around two friends who unexpectedly find a dead plesiosaur on a beach. He said:

“I just directed an episode of the Creepshow television series. There’s 12 [stories] altogether – each show will have two episodes in it. Mine’s a combination of Stand By Me, The Fog, and Jurassic Park. It’s really something.”

Shutter’s upcoming revival of the horror anthology franchise Creepshow is currently in development with Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead) leading the charge on it. As a fan of the original Stephen King and George A. Romero Creepshow movies, I’m looking forward to this.

Today we have some casting information to share with you. According to Deadline, Adrienne Barbeau (Creepshow,The Fog), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul) and Tobin Bell (Saw) will star in an episode of the series called “Grey Matter” which is based on the Stephen King story.

The Walking Dead producer Greg Nicotero has started production on his Creepshow anthology series for Shudder. The series is inspired by the classic 1982 Stephen King and George A. Romero anthology film.

King and and his son Joe Hill are involved with the development of the series along with Bird Box author Josh Malerman, Cold in July writer Joe Lansdale, and more. As the show begins production, we have a list of stories that are being adapted for the show.

It was already reported that one of the episodes would be an adaptation of King’s “Survivor Type,” which tells the horrific tale of a man who is shipwrecked on on island who is forced to eat his own body parts in order to survive.

The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero will head a TV series revival of the classic horror anthology movie, Creepshow.

Creepshow is coming back in a big way, this time headed to the realm of peak television!

Shudder, the premium streaming service owned by cable channel AMC, is reviving the Stephen King/George Romero-crafted Creepshow horror anthology film as a television series. Moreover, AMC has tapped talent from its own tent, appointing The Walking Dead executive producer and legendary effects maestro, Greg Nicotero, to serve as director, executive producer, and overall supervisor for the small screen endeavor.

In the latest news, another trio of cast members, David Arquette, Tricia Helfer and Dana Gould, have just been added, and the great Tom Savini is now confirmed to occupy the director's chair for an episode.

Apple Music is establishing a beachhead in Nashville. The company announced Monday morning that 13-year Apple veteran Jay Liepis has relocated to Music City to head up a team there that will be “dedicated to being more involved with artists, managers, songwriters and the label community at large.”
