George Fairfax was born in 1928 in Australia. He was an actor, known for Blue Heelers (1994), Golden Braid (1990) and Phoenix (1992). He died on 8 September 1996.

He was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 1984 Queen&#39;s New Years Honours List for his services to the performing arts.

Was instrumental in the construction of the Victorian Arts Centre in Melbourne.
