Composer, bandleader, songwriter, pianist and arranger, educated at
Washington and Lee University. He was the orchestra leader for
Cincinnati radio station WLW, and appeared with his orchestra at
several Cincinnati theatres and ballrooms, and he also recorded for
several labels, including Fraternity Records. Joining ASCAP in 1958,
his chief musical collaborator was Peter Lind Hayes.
