- (September 1953 - June 1958) An accomplished radio actor, he portrayed the heroic Captain Andrew "Jet" Morgan in classic BBC Light Programme radio sci-fi drama "Journey into Space". The stories comprised: "Journey to the Moon" (Sep 1953-Jan 54 and remounted in 1958 as "Operation Luna" as the originals had been lost; this broadcast Mar-Jun 58), "The Red Planet" (Sep 54-Jan 55) and "The World in Peril" (Sep 55-Feb 56).
- (April 10, 1956) He played Laertes in William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford, England with Alan Badel, Harry Andrews, Diana Churchill, Dilys Hamlett, George Howe, Emrys James, Clive Revill, and Patrick Wymark in the cast. Michael Langham was director.

Robert Atkins was director.
