J.D. Freedman

After studying film production at Northwestern University and USC, JD ran Starlight Productions in NYC for 7 years. He then moved to Miami where he worked as a line producer with local production companies on shoots throughout the Caribbean until he accepted a full time position with Multi-Media Productions as the Supervising Producer of a new National TV series - World Business Review. After WBR he partnered in the creation of a new editing and animation boutique, which lead him to his current role as a writer and video editor. He's written numerous scripts, magazine articles and a couple of books. JD has also taught video production and post on the college level. He's worked on dozens of movies and countless other productions. Over the years he's acquired a valuable collection of resources, a strong support network, a hands-on production style and undying enthusiasm which he brings to every production he works on.
