Hey, "Blue Bloods" fans. Unfortunately, it's one of those times again where we have to inform you that your favorite show is about to take a small hiatus. However, this one won't last for too long, especially since we're close to the end of season 9. So, here's the deal. We have been informed that the next, new episode 20 will not be airing next Friday night, April 19,2019. No, no, no. Instead, CBS has scheduled it to air on Friday night, April 26, 2019 in its same 9pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to mark that very important date down on your TV show calendars. We don't have an exact reason for why they're doing this. We just know that they are. We're guessing it probably has something to do with scheduling. CBS probably wants the season finale to land on a certain night in May 2019. So, they're skipping a week to make sure that happens.

"From Dusk Till Dawn" looked like a box office misfire for hot young filmmakers Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez when it was released 20 years ago this week (on January 19, 1996). But like the strip-club vampires who ambush the fugitive Gecko brothers, "Dawn" has proven surprisingly resistant to death.

Despite its modest ticket sales, the bloody film became a cult hit that spawned a theatrically-released making-of documentary ("Full Tilt Boogie"), two straight-to-video sequels, and a horror series on Rodriguez's El Rey cable channel that will soon begin its third season. Not only has the newly launched El Rey Network been pumping out promos left and right, they've also been hard at work on "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series," as evidenced by this first still which shows that the Geckos are indeed back.

Below you'll see D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz as Seth and Richie Gecko, roles originated by George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino. Along with releasing the still, director Robert Rodriguez spoke to BuzzFeed about adapting the film for the small screen and developing a new vampire mythos.

"From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" is shaping up to be a bit of a prequel to, as well as an expansion of, the movie. “We see things that led up to events in the film and much deeper character motivations and storylines to sort of launch into the new story that we’re doing,” Rodriguez said. “The film was a short story.

There’s been a huge increase in the cast of Robert Rodriguez’s project, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. The El Ray Network – a new English-language cable network debuting in December – is expected to premiere the supernatural crime series in the first quarter of 2014 after its 10-episode order cemented it as one of the first series belonging to the brand new network. The birth of a network is an interesting phenomenon and, depending on the kind of programming it features, it’s fascinating to see the new shows that pledge their allegiances to an untested television entity. From what we’ve heard so far, From Dusk Till Dawn sounds like it could be El Ray’s flagship series.

Earlier this summer it was announced that Robert Rodriguez would be developing a new TV series based on his vampire film From Dusk Till Dawn. The series will "explore and expand on the characters and story from the original film, providing a wider scope and richer Aztec mythology." It's gearing up for production, and now we know who is going to star in the series.

The supernatural crime saga will feature Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The X-Files) as Jacob Fuller, Madison Davenport (Save Me, Shameless) as Kate Fuller, Brandon Soo Hoo (Tropic Thunder, Ender’s Game) as Scott Fuller, and Eiza González as Santánico Pandemonium.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the "From Dusk Till Dawn" TV series has started shooting, with Robert Rodriguez (director of original film) on board to direct the first two episodes. We know that DJ Controna (GI Joe: Retaliation) will play Seth Gecko, the character George Clooney played, and Zane Holtz (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) will play Richard "Richie" Gecko, the character Quentin Tarantino played. Now comes word that the cast has been joined by Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), who will play Jacob Fuller (originally played by Harvey Keitel), father to Kate Fuller (Madison Davenport) and Scott Fuller (Brandon Soo Hoo), who are held hostage by the Gecko brothers and find themselves along for the ride of their life.
