Anson Williams of Happy Days and Brian Austin Green of Beverly Hills, 90210 are teaming up to star in and produce the horror thriller The Three Killer Pigs, Deadline reports. Said to be an homage to Italian genre movies, the project is expected to start filming in Los Angeles at the beginning of next month.
Written and directed by Thomas J. Churchill, The Three Killer Pigs has the following synopsis: A local farmer is desperate and does the unthinkable in his attempt to get his precious livestock back. A blood oath is put in place when the killer pigs make their way back to where their nightmare began. Darkness shrouds the farmhouse and its occupants when the three piggies come home.
Williams and Green are joined in the cast by Robert Lasardo (The Mule), Tommy Morgan, Jr. (The Bridge to Nowhere), Sharna Burgess (Dancing with the Stars), Tank Jones (Amityville Uprising...

Screaming in High Heels comes from the devoted mind of journalist and filmmaker Jason Paul Collum, whose interest in all things Slumber Party Massacre led him to become a fascinated fan of women who star in horror movies. In Screaming in High Heels: The Rise and Fall of the Scream Queen Era, Collum details the horror movie careers of the three women who coined the phrase “Scream Queen”: Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, and Michelle Bauer.
Collum is a great storyteller, and it’s evident from his previous documentary on Scream Queens, Something to Scream About, that he’s extremely interested in these women’s vocations as a phenomenon of horror fandom. Screaming in High Heels isn’t about Linnea, Brinke, and Michelle as...

I don't know about you, but if I see the name Christopher Lloyd on a movie, I'm watching it.
This weekend, Lloyd's new film InSight will be released in limited theaters, and also stars Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints), Adam Baldwin (Firefly), Natalie Zea (Justified), Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie), and Veronica Cartwright.
You can check out the trailer here below for the film, directed by Richard Gabai, but I'll be honest -- the trailer doesn't do the movie justice. Matter of fact, it plays like a Funny or Die parody of a psychological paranormal thriller. So, maybe skip the trailer and just go by who's actually in the movie.
Oh, and the story, story is important too: an ER nurse (Zea) gets zapped while trying to revive a dying woman who's been stabbed. She then immediately gets the woman's memories; of course, everyone thinks she's nuts now and...

“InSight” is a twisty, manipulative, and surprisingly unpredictable thriller from actor/director Richard Gabai, whose credits up to now have been teen-friendly fare like “Popstar”, “Call of the Wild 3D”, and “Motocross Kids”. (You know, the kind of films you watch when no one knows you’re watching?) He’s also an actor, with roles in some truly horrific B-movies over the years (including as a regular in the films of one Fred Olen Ray, and if you don’t know who Fred Olen Ray is, then you’ve been denying yourself some truly awful direct-to-dvd B-movies). Gabai’s latest is a major detour from his usual stuff, with the director diving into a mind trip screenplay from Aaron Ginsburg and Wade McIntyre that, while it looks to be treading familiar territory, nevertheless manages to pull off a couple of surprises anyway. “InSight” stars “Justified’s” Natalie Zea as Kaitlyn,...

Cast: Sean Patrick Flanery, Angeline-Rose Troy, Natalie Zea, Christopher Lloyd, and Adam Baldwin.
Insight is one part murder mystery and one part psychological thriller. This film stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Natalie Zea centrally. Flanery plays a detective, while Zea plays Kaitlyn a night nurse with a mission. That mission is to find a young girl's killer, after this victim dies in her emergency room. A defibrillator possibly gives Kaitlyn psychic insight into the killer's identity, while the final moments of this film delivers an unseen emotional punch. Thriller Cast Creeped Out While Filming At Haunted Hospital
The cast and crew of new thriller In/Sight were left spooked during night shoots while filming at an abandoned hospital, which has been listed as one of the most haunted sites in Los Angeles.
Linda Vista Community Hospital in Boyle Heights, where the pilot for E.R. was shot, has been shuttered for 20 years - following a string of lawsuits connected to the place's unexpectedly high death rates.
It has been the site of several televised paranormal investigations and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
And In/Sight director Richard Gabai admits it was a very spooky setting for him and his cast, including Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd and Sean Patrick Flannery.
The moviemaker says, "It was extremely creepy and scary, which really helped the feel of the movie - because it's a supernatural thriller. It was challenging at times.
"I can't say anyone saw any ghosts but you could feel death in that place. There was actually one time I lost my producer for two hours - he wandered off and got lost. We worried that something had happened to him.
"He was terrified because the electricity would go on and off and the lights would flicker."
But Gabai admits he had more than ghosts and ghouls to worry about while making the film - he was on such a tight budget he agreed to share the location with another production.
He tells WENN, "There was another film shooting simultaneously so we had to observe tight schedules, as did the other director, so our projects didn't interfere. Can you imagine shooting a tense scene and hearing 'Action' from another part of the hospital?"
But Gabai brought the film in under budget in just 15 days, despite the obstacles.

Without the beautiful “Scream Queen” trio of Brinke Stevens, Linnea Quigley and Michelle Bauer – the term Late Night Classics would probably not exist. Fangoria got the early word on the premiere of this must-see documentary, as well as the trailer and poster.
“The Rise & Fall of the Scream Queen Era (roughly 1986 – 1994) and the home video boom (roughly 1984 – 1994) is documented and more specifically follows the careers of Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, Michelle Bauer and their most common cohorts Fred Olen Ray, David DeCoteau, Jay Richardson (actor), Ken Hall (writer), and Richard Gabai (actor) with additional input by Ted Newsom (director) and Jason Paul Collum (who also directs this doc).”

Do you like campers getting killed? Do you like Bigfoot monsters? Do you like flute solos? Well, Night Of The Demon (singular) has it all. Moronic Mark has a field day watching a film about a college professor taking his students on a field trip where they hunt Sasquatch. Of course, the Suburban Sasquatch has a different reaction to the flick and poor Sammy has to suffer from the consequences, and the Iron Sheik has a lip stick tube stuck in his boobie because he was confused over which movie was being reviewed. And for no really good reason, there's two Richard Gabai songs in it.

Singapore -- Disney's animated feature "Bolt" will open the inaugural 3DX: 3D Film & Entertainment Technology Festival in Singapore on Nov. 19, two days before its U.S. bow, organizers said Wednesday.
Disney movie division president Mark Zoradi will kick off the festival with a presentation on 3-D and the studio's upcoming slate. Disney has 10 3-D films scheduled for the next two years, including "Up," "G-Force" and "Disney's A Christmas Carol."
"This forum is a great opportunity to engage our partners and to explore the full potential of 3-D, which is really changing the way we look at films," Zoradi said.
Produced by Los Angeles-based Chabin Partners and hosted by the Singapore government's Media Development Authority, 3Dx is the first event of its kind dedicated to stereoscopic 3-D. The program includes a business forum, screenings and international speaker sessions.

Deal
The world of high-stakes poker provides the backdrop for "Deal", a latecomer to the card-playing movie game that brings nothing new or compelling to the table.
Directed and co-written by Gil Cates Jr., the dull production obviously sees itself as an updated "Cincinnati Kid" for the World Poker Tour set, but the end result and its characters have all the originality and dramatic depth of a TV telecast.
This MGM release might be ideally timed to ride in on the wave created by the sleeper hit "21," but potential audiences shouldn't have any problem recognizing they're being dealt an inferior hand.
Meet Alex Stillman (Bret Harrison), a cocky Yale University senior who wins an Internet Texas Hold'em poker tournament and has his sights set on the real deal.
As luck would have it, he catches the eye of Tommy Vinson (an oddly made-up Burt Reynolds), a faded poker legend who gave up the game 20 years ago to save his marriage.
Vinson takes Stillman under his tutelage and teaches him that it's ultimately more important to play your fellow players than the cards you hold in your hand.
But when a pretty girl (Shannon Elizabeth) inadvertently causes a rift between them, teacher and student face off as adversaries in the World Poker Tour, along with such real-life Tour figures as Chris Moneymaker, Isabelle Mercier and circuit regular Jennifer Tilly, playing a lightly fictionalized version of her competitive self.
In his efforts to lend his film that authenticity, right down to the TV camera angles and main event graphics, Cates has sacrificed the crucial cinematic element, and the script, co-written with Screen Gems marketing president Marc Weinstock, simply shuffles all the usual cliches.
There's more character development found on those face cards than the stock, surface attributes given to the roles handed to Young Gun Harrison, old pro Reynolds and hooker-with-the-heart-of-gold Elizabeth.
Also not helping matters is the deadly staging, which finds the two leads usually sitting around a lot, even when they're not playing the game.
Not surprisingly, the energy level follows suit.

Supercross: The Movie
Its release calculated to coincide with the X Games, "Supercross: The Movie" is advertainment to the extreme.
Produced in association with Clear Channel Entertainment's Motor Sports division, which sponsors the Supercross bike-racing competition, the production attempts to dress up the corporate synergy in the guise of a fictionalized story of two racing brothers, but the resulting mix of ESPN-style visuals and WB Network-style dramatics never convincingly comes together.
Thanks to an eleventh-hour pruning that has left the film about 15 minutes shorter than its officially stated running time, any real sort of plotting or character development appears to have been left on the cutting-room floor along with all traces of Daryl Hannah's performance.
What's left is a lot of racing footage interspersed with a flimsy David vs. Goliath story which begs the question: Will its target audience willingly pay to see what they can watch on TV for free, minus the intrusive made-up bits?
Set in an odd, Southern California parallel universe where virtually everybody is Caucasian, the picture follows the intersecting paths taken by K.C. (Steve Howey) and Trip (Mike Vogel) Carlyle, a pair of brothers who run a pool-cleaning business but whose hearts are in Supercross.
The more disciplined of the two, K.C. ends up getting a flashy "factory" (corporate sponsored) ride, which drives a philosophical as well as a competitive wedge between the siblings. Trip ends up going the less glamorous, unsponsored "privateer" route, but fate ultimately intervenes, forcing these would-be rivals to put aside their difference and join forces to defeat the powerful bad guys.
Directed by stuntman-turned-filmmaker Steve Boyum, the vehicle dutifully goes along an uninspired path mapped out by screenwriters Ken Solarz and Bart Baker that still allows for earnest emoting from its young cast members. Joining Howey and Vogel are Cameron Richardson and Sophia Bush as the brothers' love interests, and the more seasoned Robert Carradine and Robert Patrick as the controlling corporate heavy and the noble independent spirit, who serve, for better or worse, as the boys' respective father figures.
Getting to the main event, filmed at the real-life Supercross finals in Las Vegas, the high-energy footage is competent but falls short of spectacular. Maybe it would have been a better idea to simply skip the fiction altogether and just show those real-life bikers doing their extreme thing, uninterrupted by cutaway close-ups of the actors pretending to be them.
