Prince Harry has reportedly put his needs above those of his wife, Meghan Markle, according to a body language expert. Harry was “beaming from ear to ear” during a solo appearance in Vancouver, as he and Meghan remain professionally separated.
Prince Harry is currently in Vancouver for Invictus Games events
The Duke of Sussex is currently attending Invictus Games events in Vancouver. Prince Harry founded the paralympic-style competition for wounded, injured, and sick service members and veterans.
Body language expert Darren Stanton told Gb News that during solo appearances, Prince Harry shows a more confident, relaxed persona. Thus, he believes that the duke can be himself without his wife by his side.
When Harry works alone, Stanton says, “He is completely engaged with what he is doing and who he is meeting. His passion here is incredibly visible, which isn’t surprising given the Invictus Games has a huge place...

Prince Harry is throwing himself into his charity work for his beloved Invictus Games, but his latest engagement may have gone too far for a Royal family member.
Prince Harry was in New York promoting several causes, including Bill Clinton’s Clinton Global Initiative.
As Monsters and Critics reported, Prince Harry also visited a tattoo parlor, but it was unclear if he got a real tattoo or a temporary one.
It seems that country rocker Jelly Roll was involved in a prank played on Prince Harry at a tattoo parlor in September when the prince came to invite the singer to the Invictus Games ceremony.
Members of the Royal family typically do not get tattoos, or at least not visible ones, although Princess Eugenie and Lady Amelia Windsor have visible tattoos, according to Magnum Tattoo Supplies.

Princess Diana wasn’t shy about showing her appreciation for her favorite singer’s assets during a flirty interaction at a London gym. She wolf-whisted at Simon LeBon, her favorite singer, and new MBE inductee before declaring he had “nice legs” and she would “recognize that bum anywhere.”
Simon LeBon and Princess Diana first met in 1983
Princess Diana was a great fan of Duran Duran. She subsequently met them at the 1983 Prince’s Trust concert and in 1985 at the premiere of the James Bond movie A View to a Kill. Moreover, the band wrote the title song for the film series’ 14th installment.
LeBon shared recollections of a flirty interaction with Diana in an interview with the Times of London. He explained he was working out at the gym when Diana made him red-faced.

Some celebrities seem to coast by the seat of their pants, but St. Vincent is not one of them. She performed one song a hundred times in the studio to get it just right. The song’s lyrics are hard to understand, but that’s what makes it beautiful.
St. Vincent decided to use less guitar on ‘All Born Screaming’
During a 2024 interview with Paper, St. Vincent discussed her song “Hell Is Near” from All Born Screaming. “That was one where I wrote and rewrote the lyrics,” she said. “That was a song that if I didn’t bow before it, it just wouldn’t happen. I sang it 100 times. The chorus is bare … and I have to actually be there to sing it and for it to be real and not throw a bunch of ego or bulls***,” she says, before mimicking singing the word ‘bare’ with multiple vocal runs.

More than 100 noise complaints from last weekend’s Hard Summer festival outside SoFi Stadium in Inglewood has resulted in a ban on future music events at the venue’s elevated American Airlines Plaza.
Inglewood Mayor James Butts said in a statement that the elevated stage in the plaza was determined to be a “major contributor to the issue” of noise complaints.
“Consequently, no stages will be permitted in this area for future events,” Butts said in his statement.
The Hard Summer festival featured four outdoor music stages positioned outside SoFi Stadium in the surrounding parking lots.
Butts said the city was “perplexed” by the complaints, given the number of previous outdoor concerts held at the plaza without incident. City officials worked with festival organizers between Saturday and Sunday to alleviate the problem, which primarily focused on certain “bass frequencies.”

Sarah McLachlan’s late ’90s all-female touring festival Lilith Fair is the subject of a new feature-length documentary.
Coming from the CBC, the authorized film is inspired by the 2019 Vanity Fair article Building a Mystery: An Oral History of Lilith Fair, written by Jessica Hopper with former Consequence editor Sasha Geffen and Jenn Pelly. Simply titled Lilith Fair, it’s directed by Ally Pankiw and pulls from more than 600 hours of archival footage, interviews, and stories from fans, festival organizers, and artists who played Lilith Fair.

Some of the artist interviews included in the documentary include sitdowns with McLachlan herself, Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Natalie Merchant, Mýa, Jewel, the Indigo Girls, Emmylou Harris, and Olivia Rodrigo. The latter will presumably be talking about the festival’s influence since she wasn’t even born yet when Lilith Fair was founded.

Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan’s 1990s all-female music festival Lilith Fair is the subject of a feature documentary from the CBC and director Ally Pankiw.
The first Lilith Fair, which McLachlan spearheaded to defy a male-dominated music industry that couldn’t envision more than one woman performing on a concert stage or on a radio playlist, kicked off on July 5, 1997.
Over a quarter-century later, Dan Levy’s Not a Real Production Company and Elevation Pictures are co-producing Lilith Fair, with interviews by McLachlan, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Natalie Merchant, Mýa, Jewel, Indigo Girls, Emmylou Harris, Brandi Carlile and Olivia Rodrigo.
The original ladies-first Lilith Fair tour from 1997 to 1999 attracted artists like Crow, Tracy Chapman, Fiona Apple and Liz Phair from across the music world, and went on to help launch the careers of performers like Missy Elliott, The Chicks, Nelly Furtado and Christina Aguilera.

Call Rhea Raj “Miss Temptation.” The rising Indian American pop star channels the sexy undertone of her debut album Hunter in the flirtatious video for “Hush,” which premieres with Rolling Stone Thursday.
“The music video takes [the song’s] flirtatious energy into a moodier sci-fi setting,” Raj tells Rolling Stone. “As soon as I wrote the song, I envisioned this story of a suitor attempting to try and capture Miss Temptation’s heart through a dance sequence that is literally life-or-death.”

Pop singer Bebe Rexha showed off her body in a black swimsuit in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
In the caption, she wrote, “For those of you calling me fat, just know my bank account is too.”
She posed on a beach in a semi-see-through black one-piece and white cover-up and on a balcony in another photo wearing sunglasses and facing the camera.
Many celebrities commented on her post, with Paris Hilton and Brittany Cartwright posting a variety of emojis.
Nelly Furtado commented, “They can’t handle it.”
Saweetie called her “thicalicious” with a lip-biting emoji.
Rexha calling out body-shamers comes out after she slammed rapper G-Eazy in a deleted Instagram story, saying that he is a “stuck up ungrateful loser.” She then went into the comments and revealed that her team had made her delete screenshots.
In 2023, Rexha was hit in the face by a phone someone threw onstage during a concert.

That wasn’t just a dream. On Thursday night, for four-and-a-half glorious minutes, R.E.M. was back onstage for the first time in 15 years.
At the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, Mike Mills, Bill Berry had the room in a collective gasp as they performed one of their biggest hits, “Losing My Religion.” You could hear each instrument as clear as a bell, and it highlighted the primitive chemistry between four unlikely friends from Athens, Georgia, who invented indie rock and created a body of work...

There are many mysteries in Nelly Furtado’s 21-minute Tiny Desk Concert: How far forward did NPR have to move its Tiny Desk to accommodate Furtado and her retinue of eight? Why doesn’t Furtado open her eyes when she sings? And why wouldn’t she want to look and see how cool backup singer Jim Beanz looks singing Timbaland’s “hey-doodoo-dodoo-hey-hey” part of “Say It Right”? How long did they have to practice nailing the seamless segues, like violinist William Lamoureux leading everyone into clapping hands for “Explode”? Did...

Nelly Furtado took to Instagram on Saturday to show off her battle scars following a particularly dramatic performance onstage at Coachella.
Fans at the music festival on Saturday saw Furtado trip and fall after joining Dom Dolla to perform their single, “Eat Your Man.” Furtado shared footage of the spill on her own Instagram story later that day.
Also on social media, Furtado shared a photo of her bloodied finger after the performance. “Literally left it all on the stage,” she wrote, “including my blood.”
In footage of the incident, Furtado is seen singing the lyric “movin’ my body like a nympho” just before falling to the floor. She recovers quickly, telling the crowd, “I say it right, now do what I say.”
In the video of herself stumbling, she quipped: “Eat your man…not the stage.”

Elliot Page criticized Canada’s rollback of LGBTQ rights on the stage of the Juno Awards in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Sunday night.
“We are at a time in history where the rights of LGBTQ2+ people are being revoked, restricted and eliminated throughout the world, and the effects are devastating,” Page, a transgender Halifax native, said in a speech presenting twin singer-songwriters Tegan and Sara with the Junos’ humanitarian award. Page praised the work of the Tegan and Sara Foundation for 2Slgbtq+ youth, supporting health care services to youth programs. Earlier in the week, he said at BFI Flare, London’s LGBTQ film festival, that “30% of young people identify as LGBTQ,” referring to a survey released earlier this year about Gen Z adults in the U.S. “So I’m sorry, but this is not niche.”

“It hurts to turn the radio on
Stamina’s gone
My spirit is weak
Because every time I start to move on
Keep hearing that song
I’m brought to my knees”
-“Now or Never Now” by Metric
Although not selected for the phenomenal soundtrack for Ned Benson’s follow-up to his similarly themed The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, Metric’s “Now or Never Now” nearly sums up the plot of his oft-sublime The Greatest Hits. Harriet (Lucy Boynton), a librarian mourning the loss of her boyfriend Max (David Corenswet), is triggered by songs that marked their relationship. An obsessive cataloger (a great quality for a librarian), she has mapped-out the trajectory of their relationships in songs and memorabilia that she accesses in a controlled environment. For the rest of her life there are noise-canceling headphones that she uses to block out songs that send her back into the past.

A familiar sub-genre of time travel-movies has characters going into the past to see a loved one who has died. Writer and director Ned Benson gives that idea a musical twist In The Greatest Hits. Harriet (Lucy Boynton) was in the same car crash that killed her boyfriend, Max (David Corenswet), two years before. Now whenever she hears songs they listened to together, she is carried back to the first time they experienced that music. Weighed down with grief, every night she listens to LPs, labeled “Tested” and “Untested,” searching for a way back to a moment she can alter to save Max’s life. Or, as her potential new romance, David (Justin H. Min), tells her, “So you just sit in this room, go back in time and hang out with your dead boyfriend.”
Yes, she does, and it’s an intriguing premise. Benson deftly combines the time travel,...

Back in 2002, Nelly Furtado and Juanes teamed up for “Fotografía,” a wistful guitar ballad that hit Number One on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and Latin Pop Airplay charts.
