Another Hollywood marriage bites the dust. Jeff Garlin, known for his roles on The Goldbergs and Curb Your Enthusiasm, filed for divorce from his wife, Marla Garlin, after 24 years of marriage on Tuesday, Sept. 4, Us Weekly confirmed. The news outlet has reported that the court documents said Jeff, 56, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. The couple previously wed on July 24, 1994, and separated on July 25, 2017. He previously proposed to Marla, also 56, at a Neil Diamond concert. "I wanted to pick a moment she would never forget," he told The New York Times in 2006. The former couple has two adult children together, two sons James, 22, and Duke, 18, so a custody battle won't be necessary. However, Us has reported that Jeff is willing to pay spousal support, but wants each party to pay their own attorney fees. (Photo Credit: Getty Images) During a previous interview, Jeff opened up about the secret to a successful marriage.

Trio tapped for 'Garlin' pilot at TBS
Dan Castellaneta, best known as the voice of Homer Simpson in Fox's comedy series The Simpsons, has joined the cast of TBS' half-hour pilot The Jeff Garlin Project. Bob Einstein (Fox's Arrested Development, aka Super Dave Osborne) and Jackie Hoffman (FX's Starved) also have been cast in the pilot, which features Garlin (HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm) playing a version of himself. The project revolves around Garlin's fictional variety show and features flashbacks to the events of the past week that inspired that particular installment of the variety show. Castellaneta will play a snippy bank teller. Einstein plays the uncle of Garlin's wife (who is played by Garlin's real-life, Marla Garlin). Hoffman plays an annoying neighbor.
