The 1990 creature feature Tremors is one of my all-time favorite movies – and in 1996, it received one of the best direct-to-video sequels ever made when Tremors II: Aftershocks (watch it Here) hit store shelves. Today, Arrow Video announced that they’re bringing Tremors II to 4K on November 27th, and they’re also packing the release with new special features! Copies can be pre-ordered through the Arrow Video website.

In the wake of bringing the original Tremors to 4K Ultra HD, Arrow Video has announced this morning that Tremors 2: Aftershocks is also getting a 4K upgrade this year.

The 1990 cult classic monster movie Tremors has spawned four sequels (with another on the way) but are they any good?

You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who hates Tremors. In fact, while I was watching these sequels I ran a quick poll online asking people to choose their favourite 90s monster movie and Tremors won in an absolute landslide – leaving even the much-beloved Gremlins 2 in the dust.

The original cost a rather humble $11 million to make and made $5 million profit at the box office. Not a huge amount, but its subsequent popularity on home release and TV means that, 26 years later, we’ve just received word that a sixth instalment has gone into production. It seems the Tremors love is still very much alive and kicking (or should that be ‘squirming’?).

Rarely does the team get to interact with the victim in their cases, and have the victim actually interact back. But in this case, they might have been better off if the intended victim, Doc Dugan (Craig Bierko) were actually dead. At the very least, he'd have been less annoying. Doc Dugan is a former football quarterback who was once an amazing athlete, and now he suffers from has-beenitis. He's still mega popular, however, and maybe not in a good way because outside his bar, his SUV blows up… with him inside. Team Lisbon (Robin Tunney) arrives and Jane (Simon Baker) seem to be the only one there who doesn't know (or care) about who Dugan was. There is a charred body in the car, but it's burnt beyond recognition. After interviewing the two guys who kept Dugan going, his agent Sudko (Christopher Gartin) and his manager Penn (John Eric Bentley...

The shark attack in the pool in the opening scene was more of an episode storyline you would acquaint with CSI:Miami (TV) than Vegas. But at least it was different, though I didn't much like this episode, it wasn't as explosive and fast paced as the season opener. Yet it did have some redeeming features, such as allowing Wendy (Liz Vassey) to come back to give a proper ending to her character. She will be missed. Also Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) having a "Kodak" moment about her late father. Also the story of casino bosses rivalries is the usual stuff of Vegas and has been covered before in the show. This is Brass's (Paul Guilfoyle) "first shark call out" as he puts it and that was the first of many puns and fishy jokes floating around throughout the whole episode, as was expected. Poor Jen! Her latest romantic suitor is claiming that they’re just – sigh – ‘friends.’

Jennifer Aniston just can’t catch a break when it comes to her love life. She’s either dating a friend’s ex-hubby, like Chris Gartin, or having a man claim she’s just a good ‘friend.’ Sadly, this is the case when it comes to her latest potential love interest, Josh Hopkins.

Aniston and Josh were said spending a two-hour Italian dinner at Madeo in Beverly Hills. "She seemed very excited about her date.
