Sister Ishana Singh was dropped from the film Return of Jewel Theif. Ishana had a crush on a private airlines captain who had already cast his lot with another damsel. So, after a romance and many cuss words later, the high drama ended in gore. The captain nearly ended the life of his would-be brother-in-law (Sonika's brother). When Dev Anand learned about this, he was far from amused. He got Ishana removed from the film.
